OTHER: appearance DISTINGUISHING MARKS: PB: Ryan Gosling. personality Ted is a good man. There is no denying this; his heart is always in the right place even if he may stumble along the way. But for every time he does fall, he continues to get back up and that’s what defines him. His downfall is that he has never fully accepted the reality of the wizarding world and tends to take a lot of what happens in that realm less seriously as he would the muggle, especially how he grew up compared to all the stories he heard. He can be somewhat standoffish when meeting new people because of never knowing his parents and having to form his own sort of family that he still doesn’t quite feel like he totally fits into. Really, Teddy has always yearned to belong to something greater, to be apart of something big although it's never quite came. He takes pleasure in the simple things in life, and tries not to let anything get to him too much. Despite everything, he has chosen to take life as it happens rather than live in a constant state of worry, to just sit back and enjoy the ride. Over the years, Ted has adopted an existential approach to life. He believes that life is all about the choices we make, there is no such thing as fate or circumstance, and everything is as it is because we have made it as such. And these choices are meaningful, they have meaning, impact on the world around them no matter how small they seem to be. And he finds comfort in this fact because that means that any suffering he may feel or go through, he can choose to change to get away from because he accepts full responsibility for his life. It is also out of this philosophy that came his nature for helping others, and never really wanting the credit for it, of course in helping others, he does gain some sense of purpose and great joy, so it’s not entirely selfless. history + Born to Remus and Nyphmadora Lupin, who died shortly after his birth in the belief they were making it a better place for him. Raised by his widowed grandmother, Andromeda, with heavy influence from godfather Harry Potter. + Although somewhat of an outside by circumstance he was brought into the Potter/Weasley clan and really wanted to be more than just an honorary member. When he was younger he would often wear his head in that classic Weasley red so he could fit in better. His favorite of the Weasley clan was Victoire. + Generally speaking had a good childhood with heaps of cousins, positive adult role models and plenty of tales of who his parents were. + At Hogwarts sorted into Hufflepuff, got along well enough his year mates, played on the house team as a chaser. He never made prefect and he was okay with that. + Victoire was his first everything. They started dating and everything felt right in the world, they even continued the relationship after he left school despite the trouble distance might bring. + Unfortunately that fairy tale romance would hit the rocks when Victoire started her healing program and it became clear they were two different people. There were fights...epic fights until it ended abruptly two weeks after her birthday. + Teddy didn't stick around long, he packed a bag taking his basics which were a handful of clothes, his wand and his guitar. He said his goodbyes, promised he'd write and left the country. + Traveled for years, reaching places he never thought he would see to those he always wanted to, to pay for his way he took up odd jobs, teaching English, busing tables, pulling pints, building houses, really just becoming a sort of jack of all trades. + Recently returned to the United Kingdom after receiving word that his grandmother was ill and probably didn't have long to live.
