Appearance:

Ikki's uniforms are both tattered and probably ripped in some places—most likely in the knees, from all the skating and falling he does when he has the time. Also something I rarely ever mentioned - he's usually bumped or bruised in some way, shape, or form. Again, from A-T! Not so much lately, since he has a good memory of what it's like to ride, but. Yes. Dumb boy who crashes into things periodically.

Other than that, he always wears his left pant leg rolled up, and always has his knife on him. 8 times out of 10 he's also got his A-T with him, either carrying them or wearing them, though I'll probably get into the habit of mentioning it. His hair is A MESS and thanks to Egg he's got some things hiding in there which he only takes out when he's going to bathe. WHO KNOWS WHAT EGG HAS STORED IN THERE. He wears his bracer on his left arm.

Ikki's Room:

MESSY. Well, as messy as it can get. His bed is never made, and around and under it are various pieces of paper, mostly with random memories written out with a few doodles here and there. Despite this? Ikki knows where everything is. Hidden under his mattress is the picture he got from Reaper, which will never see the light of day until Fang somehow manages to find it. His telescope with his message is under his pillow if he's not carrying it with him.

Despite how messy it is, though, Ikki is rarely, if ever, hanging around in his room. He prefers to hang out just outside of the dorms, or in one of the common areas.

Average Day

Ikki wakes up generally around 9-10am Sabra time. If his team's around and awake he'll hang around a bit, help out where he can with breakfast or whatever else Pyxis does in the morning. Then he'll grab his A-T and go exploring. USUALLY, he'll explore an area as much as he can as long as it's safe, making mental notes of things to add to the map he's working on. Depending on the area, he could spend an hour to three hours just exploring, skating around, getting a feel for the area before he'll head back to Pyxis.

Afternoon-ish time he'll head back to eat whatever Pyxis is eating for lunch that day, and again, stick around to help out. Then he'll walk/skate around the main area, and usually tends to gravitate up towards Hydra to see if Fang's around, or towards Monoceros or Canis for Almaz and Nico. Sometimes Pavo, to see if Feathers is around. He'll give fishing a shot here and there, or try to catch frogs. . . . or Fang will make him try to catch something. If someone's sparing with someone else, though, he'll gravitate towards their area to watch.

* Since the Nico-Aeris thing, Ikki heads past Canis to at least check in on him, whether he actually goes in to talk with him or not.

When it starts getting dark, Ikki'll move back to the Pyxis/Cygnus area and stick close to there. Sometimes he'll just find a place to sit and work on whatever part of the map he's trying to sketch out, or write something in the journal. He generally goes to bed around midnight Sabra time, though depending on the day's events or memories or whatever, he'll stay up later.

Other

Ikki generally keeps to himself when he's not specifically seeking out people. He's not a loner, but most of the time is spent exploring and well, he just gets kind of into it. He'll avoid Hydra's area if Fang isn't around, and while he doesn't avoid Orion, he'll wander past it once or twice to see how Carly's doing without actually talking to her.

Bathing happens every other day or two, or when there's a general gathering heading there for whatever reason.

Memories 1-4

Memory #1: First Kiss Stolen By Akito (Neutral Neutral) [16-20]

What He Remembered:
- The sky
- "Flying"
- He knows Fang
- He gave his interpretation of the "Frog in the Well"
- A . . .Akito kissed him

Thoughts: NO REALLY, WHAT. He's kinda . . . torn on this memory, especially after learning a bunch of other stuff related to him and Akito. From the feel of it they're . . . not close, but he is someone Ikki obviously knows, and someone important. There isn't much else to be learned from this memory just yet, even with everything else he knows.

Memory #2: Nike Kidnapping Hako [2-13] (Sad Neutral)

What He Remembered:
- Some dude getting his hand cut off, then proceeding to go after the mysterious attacker anyway
- Mysterious attacker stole something important
- This fucker's STRONG and took out the other dude and Fang
- Fang's A-T
- A-T in general
- "Regalia" and "Tuner"
- CARLY WAS KIDNAPPED
- Carly's name is Hako
- Feathers has some connection to them
- "Winds", "Akira", and "Kaito"
- Whatever they're involved in, the police can't get involved.
- It involves an "old enemy"
- Tool Toul Too's purpose is to serve as back-up to the Kings
- King?!

Thoughts: OH GOOD GOD this is Ikki's first HUGE memory and it's. Sob. Ikki doesn't like that they didn't go after Carly, and that . . . it's just a lot of stuff that both does and doesn't make sense! Why exactly can't the police get involved? Or the people Fang mentioned? WHY DID THEY JUST LET CARLY GO? That pisses him off the most, and the fall out with Carly from it was really bad, and is still kinda . . . effecting them. It is not a memory he's very pleased with, even after finding out he's some kind of king.

Memory #3 Training with Sora [10-End of Chapter] (Happy Significant)

What He Remembered:
- Sora!
- He had to take a "release test" to get out of the hospital
- . . . that included flipping skirts
- and he did it
- willingly
- WIND MANIPULATION!!!!11

Thoughts: So going into this memory Ikki knew he had a "brother" or something who was an asshole. HE HAS NO REAL THOUGHTS ON SORA, to be honest, he's mostly focused on . . . the perverted part and the WIND MANIPULATION!!!1 And mostly the latter, cuz holy hell. HE CAN MANIPULATE THE WIND. This is why he can feel it change! And this memory was the exact thing he needed, at a time where he was pretty down about being useless and whatnot. USEFUL MEMORY. HE IS USEFUL. \o/

Memory #4: Kogarasumaru's first victory [Trick 35, page 21 - Trick 39, page 16] (Happy Neutral)

What He Learned/Remembered:
-"Put your emblem on the line!"
- Parts War Ranking System
- "Crow" is one of his nicknames
- Teammates: Akito and Agito, Buccha, Kazu, and Onigiri - Buccha must've been a former enemy, since it's mentioned that they battled and he was E-class.
- Sabel Tigers were F Class - battle type was Dash; course was the fence around the school, to win had to go around once and reach the goal first, or knock the opponent off. Five on Five. Loser has to GO HOME NAKED.
- "Kogarasumaru! KILL KILL KILL!" Battle cry of awesome.
- Akito and Agito are TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE in . . . the same body. THIS IS NOT STRANGE AT ALL.
- Kazu got cold feet, told Agito to go in for him, wanted to protect their territory with a sure win
- Steps in and switches Agito's eyepatch, tells Kazu that he's good at being a background character, but could never win a sprinting match against him; Kazu's A-T wheels are the most worn down out of everyone

Thoughts: This is . . . a huge, huge significant memory to Ikki; he remembers his team and part of what drives him; he remembers what it's like to actually use A-T, what a parts war is, basically a REALLY GOOD IDEA of what he does back home. Also significant? He understands and knows about Akito and Agito, which explains the eyepatch-switching he remembered in his first memory, and why Fang wears it differently in his second memory.

HE HAS A TEAM \o/ HE'S A LEADER \o/ And also a pervert sob but he doesn't really pay attention to those parts. Yet another memory that boosted Ikki's moood about being useless. He's NOT, he won a match and did it in a AWESOME MANNER and just. \o/

What does this mean for Ikki as a whole?:

So the last time I did this, Ikki was feeling useless, upset, and a lot of other things.

COMPLETE. TURN AROUND.

The last two memories he got completely boosted his mood and well, everything about him. Before this, Ikki was confident, sure, but not nearly as much as he is in canon. He still isn't! But he's getting there, and these memories definitely help; knowing he has a team, that he's the leader, and that while where he's from is nothing like Sabra, he feels that he's strong for his world's standards. He has to be, if he won such an important match so easily, right?

Because of this, he'll slowly start to slide more into his canon personality. More confident, eager, a little cocky, a little louder - there's some aspects he DOESN'T like, such as being a HUGE PERVERT and an ASSHOLE, and the person he remembers recently reminds him of himself in his message, which he also . . . doesn't like too much, but! He's got part of his drive back, and a huge hint at what his message meant. He wants to go higher. THE SKY AND BEYOND IS THE LIMIT and now that he knows that, well, he'll be even more determined to win. Seeing that he can win, that his team can, just makes him want to do better, be better for his team, just . . . he wants to win so badly now.

Staaaaaaaate of the Ikki SINCE IT IS THE COOL THING TO DO

SO. To get into some stuff, I should probably talk about Ikki pre-Trickster, and pre-Blood fight.

To put it simply; Ikki was in a really sucky place. He wasn't really happy, he'd just died again and didn't revive right so he was USELESS and that hit him pretty bad. IKKI IS NOT MADE TO BE USELESS. Even without his memories he's got this . . . thing inside him that constantly makes it so he feels like he has to prove himself, and in a place with super-powered guys who can read people's minds and smash holes into walls? Well. It's about 10x worse than it is in canon, because there's just so much to even compare to.

That and, he was kind of depressed about memories. He's gotten two by this point, neither of which told him anything about himself. Which at first didn't really bother him! It bothered him that the second was a shitty memory that obviously upset Carly, but. The more he thought about it, however, and the more people asked when he remembered his name, it kind of hit him that wow, he'd been screwed twice about learning anything about himself in his memories. And it didn't depress or upset him exactly, but he doesn't know what he's supposed to be like. He doesn't know why the guy he sees in the bass telescope looks so confident in himself when he doesn't feel nearly that much.

And going back to the useless thing - at this point, he is useless. He knows how to fight, but that doesn't go very far in say, a fight against Shabradingdong. Or anything, for that matter. What he knows is instinct and watching Blood spar or fight with other people. So DYING for no reason other than he was in the wrong place at the wrong time? Hit him hard. He was useless again, and even more useless now while he was recovering.

Sure, it helped that he spent most of his time working on a map; something that everyone would eventually need, as well as new Blanks. He was being USEFUL and that kind of made things better. And then he fought Blood once he was recovered enough! HE GOT BLOOD INTERESTED. That was another boost that just. Made him feel less useless than he usually does. He can fight well enough to keep someone interested! That's awesome!

So going into the Trickster game, Ikki was about at the place he was when he first got here; not sad or miserable, but not happy or whatever, just a place somewhere in the middle where nothing was really bugging him more than usual.

To be honest? He doesn't regret his team choosing to save Cygnus at all. Ikki doesn't know much about this or that, but he does know that not a lot of people really like them. And after the whole thing with Rezo, well. It's firmly placed in Ikki's mind that people are going to judge Cygnus and he ISN'T. They're his partner team! He considers them just a tier down from teammates, which is still pretty damn important.

So choosing to protect them was the right decision in his mind. Is he upset that Hydra (Fang) and Orion (Carly) got killed? Fuck yes. Especially Carly; he dug out all of Orion with the help of other people and then she basically yelled at him and he, well. He got away as he was told. And that hurt, especially from someone he knows is from his world and, someone he really does care about. And even if he hasn't been on the best footing with her, it still bugs him a lot. And it kind of makes him angry, too, that she'd get so angry at him over something like this, when the real person to be angry at is Trickster for putting them in that situation.

What does this mean? Well, at this point Ikki hasn't gotten his memory yet. He feels REALLY SHITTY AND UPSET AND ANGRY and doesn't really want anything to do with anyone outside of his team and partner team. HE WILL KEEP TO HIMSELF SOME until he gets over it and after he eats his memory - which will give him a WHOLE BOOST of USEFULNESS!!!1 and happiness because it explains so much of why he can feel the air change and the wind and gives him a slight bit of an idea of just who he is.

Weight: 52kg (115 lbs) is the canon weight and is PROBABLY ACCURATE BY NOW.

Appearance: Lean and skinny, it's all muscle - he's in very good shape, most notably in his arms and legs. Another thing to note are his hands are very calloused, if he happens to touch you. His hair's always a mess, like a bird's nest. Otherwise, looks like your everyday Japanese teenager

Character Name: Minami "Ikki" Itsuki

Unit: Pyxis, now known as Team Crow

Description of powers: Primarily a street fighter; hand-to-hand with wrestling moves, can also manipulate the air.

Strength/Extent of powers: He's STRONG for a kid, not super-strength, but he's one of the hardest punchers in the series. He's also fast, though not inhumanly so. Without A-T, he really is just a skilled street fighter. Uh, I guess this would go here too, but Ikki's body has a natural reaction that allows him to disperse impact throughout his body by relaxing all of his muscles.

As for the air manipulation, he can create wind with just a wave of his hand, and tornados but manipulating the air in front of him and kicking it. He can also feel if the wind changes or what direction its going almost like a sixth sense with how he's honed it in canon.

Innate: Mostly! Without knowing he was a street punk or a Storm Rider, he won't know he's actually a good fighter until he gets some kind of memory of it or put in a situation where he actually has to fight. The muscle thing, however, is entire innate to the point that he doesn't even know his body does that.

Memory related: Yes and no! However, the wind manipulation is completely memory-related. Without knowing he's a Storm Rider, or knowing that Takeuchi Sora trained him to do it, or anything relating to that he'll have no idea that he's capable of doing it. The only thing he'll pick up is that he's able to tell when the air/wind changes.

Relation to memory: If he gets any memories of fighting while using wind manipulation or any memories of Takeuchi Sora training him, he'll remember how to do it.

Character Name: Minami "Ikki" Itsuki

Point in the time-line taken: After chapter 243, before Kogarasumaru heads off for the battle against Jiggy.

Character History: Meet Ikki, a street punk and Owner of All Ass in the East. . . . that is, until he was utterly humilated by a team of Storm Riders, or people who use Air Treck (motorized skates). Defeated and kicked right in the pride, his sisters gifted him with a pair of his very own A-T to get his revenge, and he ends up experiencing what it's like to "fly" and decides that it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. He then forms his own team with his childhood friends, along with a few riders he owned, jesused, and made join, and leads them to victory . . . or other ridiculous things he comes up with at a moment's notice. But despite that, Kogarasumaru is one of the strongest up-and-coming teams the A-T world has ever seen, and battle after battle are soaring higher to the top of the sky.

But A-T are far more serious than Ikki realized. The Bad Guy of the series? Turns out to be his mentor and brother-figure Takeuchi Sora. After betraying everyone, taking the title of Wind King back from Ikki and joining up with his fucknut twin Nike to kill three of the top riders around, he tells Ikki that the wind isn't good enough for him and well . . . with everything else going on, it's nearly enough to break him. But Ikki's tough, and after a message from Spitfire, one of the dead riders, and a few punches to the face, Ikki declares that he and his team still plan on flying to top, no matter who gets in their way. And while things haven't been easy from then on, and more riders are being killed, Ikki is determined to lead his team to victory and show everyone that the sky is for everyone to fly in.

Canon Personality: Ikki has all the makings of a great leader; he's dependable, strong, honest, reliable . . . and then you see past it to a stubborn, cocky brat who thinks he's some kind of greater being that everyone should honor as a God. He's brash, reckless, and loves getting into fights, even with his best friends. He has a habit of wanting to be the best and knocking down anyone who might be showing that they're better than him - even his own best friend (of course, this starting off as a way to help his friend out of a horrible funk, but whatever). Ikki wants to fight under his own strength, and has turned down help numerous times - including turning down the President of the United States. Of course, Ikki isn't without his own issues - being betrayed by your own mentor and told you aren't good enough will hit a kid as honest as Ikki pretty hard.

But despite this he really is a good kid; he cares about his friends and relies on them just as much as they rely on him, and tends to be drawn to those who have "broken wings" - not with the aim to fix them, of course, that's something they have to do on their own. But he's there to loan them a few feathers and give them the support they need, all the while showing them what it's really like to fly.

Blank Personality: As a blank, Ikki's personality will mostly stay intact. He'll be loud, cocky, still think he's the greatest - but a little subdued at first, because in canon he's all about flying and showing people how great it is and he won't know have that as a blank, or even know what it means, so he'll be a little lost and a lot confused as to what his purpose is. Of course, he'll still be friendly and retarded, and once he learns about the games, he'll take-charge and become the dependable leader-type he is, supporting whoever he's with both to prove himself and to do whatever he can to make sure they win.

He'll also be drawn to the ones with who need support and will give theirs in return. Ikki is naturally drawn to people with "broken wings", and this won't change when he's a blank. He won't know why, or even what he's doing, but he'll still have this need to show them what it's like to fly in his own way.

Writing Sample:

Something was digging into his hip.

With a groan he rolled over and pressed his face into the pillow, reluctantly opening his eyes to stare across to the . . . unfamiliar wall. Blinking, he stared at the wall for a moment before slowly lifting his head, looking around. Wherever he was didn't look familiar at all, from the walls to the ceilings down the bed he was laying on. Sitting up, he brought a hand to his face.

Just where the hell was he? With another groan he slapped his cheeks, shaking the grogginess off before he sat up straighter. "Alright, let's find out where we are . . . " He trailed off, uncertain and eyes widening slowly. He was just about to address himself, but . . . who was he? He couldn't remember his name, or what he looked like or - anything. Glancing at his hands, he slowly curled the fingers into fists, then tighter until his nails were digging into calloused skin. Calloused . . . glancing down at himself, his hands moved to feel out the strange clothes he was wearing, patting up, over his chest and face to his hair. Messy.

Okay, so he was at least in one piece. And okay, so he didn't know where he was or who he was, but as his eyes fell on the entrance, a determined frown set on his face and he took a deep breath. He had to find out what was going on, and why he was here.

Just as he was about to move he felt what had been digging into his hip earlier and picked it up, turning it this way and that curiously. A tube? But no, it was heavier. Shrugging, he brought it up to his face to look through it --

Just as it started to play.

"This fzzzttt will fzzt over anyone who gets in his way!" He frowned as the sound sizzled for a moment, but then watched as a young boy pointed upwards, his other hand resting on a hip in a cocky stance. The boy paused, then grinned, confident and determined. "I do this willingly."

Frowning more, he slowly pulled the tube away from his face, looking it over. Then lifted his eyes upwards, to the ceiling. "Go over anyone how?" He muttered, confused. "Whoever that idiot is, he doesn't make sense."

He stayed like that for a moment, relaxing, calming himself - why would looking up be calming anyway? - before he pushed himself out of the bed, grasping the tube tightly in his hand and heading for the entrance.

"This is the worst fucking morning ever." He muttered before pushing past the curtain.
