Princess Euphemia li Britannia is a woman of privilege. She is a woman of luck, of high standing-- of royalty.

She is a princess-- a sixteen year old girl thrown into a world amess with politics. She is naïve to a point, despite the environment in which she was brought up; naïve in her absolute beliefs that the world can settle into peace, that wars can be rendered obsolete, but then startlingly aware that this vision of a peaceful world will take time.

She is a girl grown up around her siblings with their breakneck races to claim the throne, their duty to their country, their tactics and battle plans, their political grace and charm. Euphemia is none of these things. She does not know how to handle political matters; isn’t particularly charming, like her older brothers are; isn’t particularly good at maneuvering troops around the field in combat, like Cornelia is. She can’t even pilot a Knightmare beyond the very basics.

But still, Euphemia tries. She tries her best, despite her feelings of powerlessness; her feelings of inadequacy; her struggle not to drown amongst her siblings. She tries her best to keep afloat. Euphemia wants to help people, no matter who they are-- be they Numbers or Britannian, and she would never willingly do something to harm anyone, is even hesitant to do so when commanding combat. She just wants to help the world be a better place. She just wants the tides of war to settle and retreat.

So she does her best to do just that.

Even though she’s envious of her powerful, strong family-- she loves them all very much. Wants the best for them all. And just as she’d never willingly do something to harm the citizens of the countries hers rules over, she would avoid harming anyone of her family. And for that reason she tries to stay out of the throne’s limelight, despite her being a princess and her aspirations to change the way Numbers are treated by Britannians.

Euphemia is a kind girl who seeks only the best interests of the world. A girl who only wants happiness and equality.
