Back from Comic Fiesta!!

Actually, I've been back for a day already, but I've been too busy catching up on sleep. It was difficult to sleep well when you share two interconnecting hotel rooms with seven very noisy people, and have a blanket hog for a bed partner. |D But it was fun though, as usual. Can't wait for it next year. Heh.

Anyways, I'm still waiting for photos from Hexlord, Togusa, Shiro... you know, the epically good photographers who kidnap you during events to some random corner for a mini-photoshoot?

Yup, that is it.

But those are mostly for the second day, when Kitska and I did Lady and Nero respectively from Devil May Cry 4. More about that later.

On the first day, we cosplayed from a Korean manhwa called 'Habaek', or 'Bride of the Water God'. Hysoka was Habaek, Kitska was Soah (the bride) and I was Hoo-Yeh, otherwise known as Habaek's trusty general who still wants to kill him, like lol.

We didn't have much photos though. I'd be surprised if we do, since I don't think anybody actually recognize us, obscure series as it is.

On the second day, as per our usual tradition, we broke up to do our individual stuff. Kits and I were cosplaying from Devil May Cry 4, Hysoka was Yuuri from Kyou Kara Maou, and Ruka did moe Boss fem!Xanxus from Reborn!. Well, we kinda wandered about on our own. So I can only speak for the DMC part of the group.

Long story short, we got SWAMPED. I wonder if it's because we were carrying epic weapons that were approximately our body size, or that Kitska's boobs have magnetically attractive powers, wardrobe malfunction aside. We met Kay, who was cosplaying as Dante from the same series, and took some photos together. Also got kidnapped by Hexlord into some random dark stairwell for photos. As for Kits and I, we were later kidnapped by Shiro as well for more photos.

Will make a photo post when I do get the photos from them. (Might take a while though, given what I know of those people.)


SO YES- NEXT YEAR'S CF! What should we do? hysquid~ Join us for Warriors Orochi!!!!

Now, to think about how to cart it over to CF. ^^; Note to self: buy a 90 cm long luggage case tomorrow.

Oh yes, con report.

So the theme for the event this year was retro, and the group of us decided to cosplay from Houshin Engi. Kits was Fukki, I was Dakki, Ruka was Roushi and Nuts was Bowl Head Shinkouhyou, who disappeared off for half the event anyway. leXis was supposed to join us as Chuuou but *sobs* she couldn't finish her costume in time.

ANYWAY- nothing much this year (as usual), but I did manage to loot a good load of stuff, unlike in previous years. That, and well- harassed some victims.

Namely, one Ryohei-sempai. I hope he wasn't too badly traumatized though. The last time I saw him, his ears were most definitely crimson from all the blushing.

For all that bravado about hitting on girls, Singaporean guys really can't make it when they are faced with a girl who is sexually aggressive. I mean, hell, how many times do I have to deal with people who could barely string a sentence together coherently yesterday?


Me: *talking on the phone*
Daniel (cosplaying as 25YO Lambo): *to Kits* T-tell her that she's very hot.
Kits: You can tell her that yourself.
Me: I heard that. ♥

I think the only person (who didn't already know me for years) who tried to get fresh only managed to put his hand on my shoulder before I grabbed hold of it and held on to it the entire time while the photo was taken so that it wouldn't wander.


After the con, Kits, Ruka, Shroud and I went off to Pasta Fresca for dinner. And heh. Mukuro got the bill, of course. (My membership card says "Rokudo Mukuro", honest!)
