There's a group of Digimon, the Seven Great Demon Lords (Nana Dai-Maoh), who have crests, like the Chosen Children from Adventure, but these crests are named after the seven deadly sins. There's a bunch of info on Wikimon... And I see a LOT more has gone up since I started writing this file. Er. Aw, what the hell, I'll post this anyway.
I did kind of wonder where the crest designs came from, but figured it was sourced from wherever the Children's crest designs were from (i.e. Akiyoshi Hongo or a Toei artist). A while ago, though, I was watching Silent Hill 1 cutscenes on Youtube, and was suddenly confronted with the Demon Lord crests on in-game TV screens...
So okay, obviously they're not original to Digimon. Where'd they come from, then?
Lots and lots of Googling, plus delving into my dad's symbol dictionary (awesome book), provides the answer!

Well, my computer, Sakkun, does. "Agent.ETO," lovely little trojan. *slays*
Ha ha, AVG Free got most of it -- now the porn shortcuts aren't respawning -- now I'm just gonna run Spybot S&D and then poke WinPatrol and MSconfig to make sure it's all gone. :3

I was gonna upload a Rockman.EXE icon for this post, but I couldn't decide on one. :B OH WELL. So we use a virus Digimon instead.

| 01:13 am - Digimon Card Game Starter Set ver.10
I raided ebay for its japanese Digimon starter decks. The first of the lot arrived today!

There are instructions on the other side, too, but I think I'll do that after sleep.
Edit: It's tomorrow! I got two more decks today! They're both Alpha Code! I'll try to finish transcripting the main CCG's instructions first though. XD

| 04:34 pm - MASSIVE LOT OF DIGIMON CARDS
I got these today <3 You also get a look at my v-pets, and four older-CCG cards that didn't come with this lot. :B Better look here! That's Candlemon in the Cycle ver.8 and Bakumon in the Pendulum ver.3.0. :>
I have many, if not most of the cards available in the Alpha Evolve section on WtW's Card Terminal, plus a few they don't have scans of :3
And I got the card that my icon is derived from! yay!

Edit: Fixed names and re-adding next table, now that I've finished it :9
Strange thing: Wendimon's [C] icon is [B]-green, instead of blue like it ought to be.

Wildermon has a translation over at WithTheWill, but he(?) called the gun 'Auroramon'... and that kana definitely says 'Ōrosarumon'.
...Googling Beelzebumon's gun (Berenjena), apparently it's a Spanish word for eggplant? So I have no idea what pattern (if any) Astamon's gun name would follow.
'Ō' could be that, 'Ou', 'Or', 'Ol' (unlikely), or 'Au'... maybe even 'Aur'/'Aul'?
'Ro', ro/lo, possibly combined with the previous (for Auro, etc).
'Sa' could be that or 'tha' (maybe even 'the'?).
'Ru', -r, -l, or yeah, even -ru or -lu.
Oloroso/Olorosa? Google seems to add that it can also be spelled Olroso.
Mostly I'm just listing possibilities in case something clicks.
