I got an urge to pick up "Eva" again at work today. Unfortunately I'm exhausted and ill, so I don't trust myself to write right now.

I also have a very strong desire to make a Rakkyo AMV to WT's "Stand My Ground", but I'll wait until after chapter four comes out - four one, because I have to do my finals, and for two because there might be something worth using there. Just making a note of it here, so I don't forget.

Now I'm going to take a hot bath.

I wonder if my pathetic lethargy is starting to ease up at all. At least I managed to do okay today. My animation turned out pretty well, and I got my drawing homework done for once. Not that I don't still have way too much work to catch up on.

I was thinking earlier about how much I appreciate modesty. Not in the sense that I'm a prude, but just... I've always found it much more attractive than being showy and exhibitionistic... Is that a word? Anyway, it's just that... It's one of the reasons I like the TM girls so much; they are just a lot more modest in clothes and behavior than a ton of anime girls. But it's always been like that, ever since I was little and first attracted to anything. I like modest clothes better and modest behavior better. I don't think it's a matter of morals or principles (I don't have any of that crap, after all :P) but it's just more my taste. Not that I don't appreciate pantsu, that's a whole different territory.

Anyway, I don't really have a point here. Just something I was reflecting on.

Also, I really like fresh pineapple. I think I may have thought I hated pineapple because I grew up eating squishy canned shite. But fresh pineapple is spectacular. Orgasmic even.

I don't think I had anything else to say. I still hate you, LJ.

Recap of the day: Woke up late, due to staying up late. Got moving very slowly . Finally got ass to the library and have been working on the damned animation project for what feels like all day. Gah, I hate deadlines. I feel like I could do such better work and feel better about it if the damned things weren't there.

I'm ready for break like woah. I feel like I'm breaking down just from having work to do, even though I'm incredibly lazy about doing it. It's like a constant shadow hanging over me, picking away at my nerves. Hrrhrr. How is that for cliched imagery?

I hope that next semester will be less stressful, despite being my last. At least there will be no Senior Project, and no animation... but for all I know, one of the classes I end up with will be just as busy and stressful. Maybe even two of them. Maybe even four.

I was horribly misanthropic this morning, so much so I almost made an obnoxious and angry entry. The only thing that stopped me was the knowledge that if I sat down in front of a computer, I'd be there puttering around forever.

I actually meant to write when I came here. So much for that brilliant plan. Oh well. Not like I can write here with this loud dramatic music in my ears anyway.

At least my animation project is done enough that I can stop thinking about it. I don't think it's "done" in the sense that I'm happy with it, though. It may never be.

Tomorrow is Tuesday. God damn I hate Tuesdays.

Must learn Japanese... but it costs so much, grrr... I need more money. Actually I need more money for a lot of things. Last night I was reminded that Anime Boston is next year, too. Fun times... I need a job. I mean, I need a real job...

Got class registration taken care of this morning. It was surprisingly painless, probably because I only have one required class left. I filled up the schedule with a bunch of stuff that looked interesting, which worked a lot better than I thought it would.

Result:

Identity Design (Mondays, required)
History of Pornography (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Banned Books (Tuesdays)
Abnormal Psychology (Fridays)

A friend who took Abnormal Pysch told me, "You'll find out everything that's wrong with you." But as I told her, that already happened when I took Psych 101.

Eh well, next semester will be full of studying how screwed up humans are. I'll try not to become too bitterly misanthropic.

Today's entry is brought to you by the journal on the not-ugly website (and unfortunately not friends-locked, out of necessity *tear*).

Regarding anime watching, I really may end up not finishing anything until Garan no Dou comes out. Nothing is drawing me in. I was considering continuing with "ef~a tale of melodies", but the latest entry on Aroduc's blog does not encourage me. He says the last one is the best episode so far, but...

HOLY GODS. This cut is the old, neat, not ugly and awkward one! Sweet!

Anyway. I guess among the latest "ef" news is that the Yuuko chick was abused and stuff by that guy that adopted her. Okay. Yeeeaaah I TOTALLY DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING FROM ABOUT EIGHTEEN HUNDRED MILES AWAY. I was hoping they weren't going to do something so terribly predictable, and, well... "ef" wasn't hauling me in anyhow, so I probably won't follow it any further. I will admit that it does have some lovely art, though.

I never liked Yuuko from the start, anyway. Something about her just... grated on me...

Next one to attempt is "A Certain Magical Index." If that doesn't do it for me, I may just give up on animes until December, and then January when Paradox Spiral comes out.

Let's see... I've missed lunch already, so I may as well settle in and drop some of my TYPE-MOON fan pic collection here.

Oh hi, website. Sorry, I don't seem to have much to say. I'm a terrible conversationalist and it's been a long day, but I felt like I had to come and introduce myself after elbowing in and creating an account and journal and all. I ventured here to see if I could escape some of LiveJournal's constantly appearing issues, though I see this site has some issues of its own. Well, let's see how well we can get along, shall we?

I notice you're not called Inksome on most of your alternate viewing options. You're not hiding something, are you? Were you recently given over to new management, and/or used to be called Scribblit? Just a theory.
