Wanted/Character suggestions


WANTED CHARACTERS

This is a post for all current members to tell us who they'd love to see in game. It helps gives new players ideas as to what would be most wanted, what would get them some quick plots, or help someone fill out a family. It might even inspire current players to pick up new characters.

So comment here, everyone, with who you want. Who's got brothers, sisters, cousins at Salem? Who thought of an amazing concept that would make for a great character? Tell us here! Feel free to suggest PBs to go along with it and to use the easy copy and paste below!

Character: Scene kids!

Suggested PB: Any age-appropriate scene kid. Seriously, they're everywhere. Hollow-art.com and pbsbyariel on Ij have some.

Why: It's an American high school. They're a cliche! Besides, what other game actually puts scene kids on the wanted list?

Character: Minorities! Please???

Why: This is American dammit! We need blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, everything. It's not all white bread at Salem! [Trust me we will actually put a cap white PBs if necessary to get diversity.]

Character: Bullies and beeyotches, yo.

Suggested PB: Anyone who looks the part!

Why: Need I say it again? It's high school! There are always bullying jocks and catty cheerleaders. There are stereotypes for a reason. Of course you can be a bully without being a jock, and vice versa, or a cheerleader without being catty, or again, vice versa, but sometimes it's fun to play into stereotype. Besides, someone's gotta pick on the geeks and nerds!

Character: Plus-size characters.

Suggested PB: Adele, Jesse Carmacho [friends-locked, but membership is open], Clark Duke, Josh Peck, and more! Check Hollow-art.com for other suggestions.

Why: Let's face it. Everyone isn't gorgeous in high school. Most of us were overweight, acne-ridden, socially awkward, or in some other way, not the gorgeous popular type. So let's see them!

Character: Homophobes

Suggested PB: That's completely up to the player!

Why: Because bigots exist. And with a lot of people at Salem questioning or open about alternative sexualities, there have to be the opposites, the ones who make them worry and doubt. And I don't mean the ones who are sekritly gay. I mean strict Christians, bible-thumpers, those who believe gay marriage is wrong, those who've been taught values by ultra-conservative parents etc. You catch my drift!

Character: Elliott Parker (or any number of Parker cousins, actually)

Suggested PB: No one specific, just someone who looks like they could be related to Willa Holland/Jac. Elliott, though, is supposed to be less athletic, kind of skinny, that kind of thing.

Why: Jac loves her family! She's pretty close to Elliott and is sort of overbearing and protective, so the player would get to decide how he deals with that. She has fun with her relatives.

Why: It would be interesting to see how Bai and his cousins get along! Who doesn't need family?

Character: Luka's brothers! He has two who are in upper academy, a freshman and a junior, named Conor and Declan. (Cousins would also be cool, he has a lot of those!)

Suggested PB: Basically just anyone who can pass for Bobby Hicks's siblings. And probably also Irish-looking! Maybe some more hipsters. They ARE from Williamsburg.

Why: LUKA LIKES HAVING HIS BROTHERS AROUND. They make fun of each other a lot and Luka is touchy and probably curses at them in French and/or German. Also I imagine he gets beat up a lot even though they're younger. IT WOULD BE FUN.

Character: Jenny Parry, Proctor Jr. She has epilepsy, but it's controlled.

Suggested PB: Well, she's Ella's twin so the PB would be Zoe Kimball like me. Her fashion/piercings whatever are up to you though!

Why: Because hello? TWIN GIRLS RUNNING AROUND.

Character: Lupe Garcia, Sunny's little sister she'd be a freshman

Suggested PB: Someone who could pass as half Mexican/half Italian, or someone who looks like they could pass as Selena Gomez's sister

Why: Sunny loves her family and she's very protective of her little sisters, it would be awesome to see them played together. :)

Character: Teetotalers and straight-edge kids

Suggested PB: Anyone age appropriate

Why: We've got a lot of kids who drink, smoke or do drugs, and few who don't. We'd like to expand the balance there with kids who wouldn't touch any of the above.

Character: The Turner siblings. Two cousins of Casey's on his mother's side. Gender doesn't matter, first names are your pick, and they don't have to be the same year or the same house. They're in the same age range as Casey, so Sophomore and Junior would be fitting.

Suggested PB: Anyone that bears a family resemblance to Casey. Luckily, it doesn't have to be a close resemblance :) Dark hair tends to run on that side of the family.

Why: Family present for Casey would just be awesome. He would have grown up near them, and I'm open to whether his relationship with them is good or bad (at least one good one, if not both, would be nice). It just creates some more fun and interesting play!

Character: Jordan's cousins, on either side of the family.

Suggested PB: Both sides are very mixed, so PBs can range from black to white, and anywhere in between.

Why: I've already asked for his brother, but cousins allow for more flexibility, so you get more free reign on your part of the family can be like. Also, I just like getting more minorities in game, if possible.

Character: Alexander Van Rensselaer. Quinn's younger brother of 2 years. Freshman, any house.

Suggested PB: Anyone who can get away with looking like a young brother to Kat Dennings

Why: While Quinn loves her brother dearly now, she didn't always. Being that he was prized as the heir and therefore was the favorite, a very young Quinn tried to take him out of the picture. I'd love to see him get picked up and work out a dynamic with them, and the possibility of that dark secret coming to light eventually makes for some interesting play.

Character: Julian Prideaux, Proctor Senior, brother of Frankie.

Suggest PB: Jeremy Kapone is perfect looking.

Why: Jules has been played in the past and he has alot of fun stuff still to do! He has a mortal enemy, a sister and a boyfriend. He's a flirt, serial womaniser, French and generally fabulous!

Character: Osborn cheerleaders, male or female!

Suggested PB: Once again no restrictions on PBs. Just whoever fits!

Why: We have no cheerleaders in the happiest house on earth. How is that possible? A few Osborn girls could use roommates, and we're low on Osborn boys. Kill a few birds with one stone!

Character: Ping and Jiang Wei! QuiLan's brother and sister, a sophomore and freshmen respectively. (Also BaiLi Wei and YeMeng Rong's cousins)

Suggested PB: Anyone Chinese who looks like they could belong in the Wei family.

Why: Because it's fun to play with the Wei-Rong family! And Qui adores her little brother and sister. She and Jiang have definitely had some epic fights about borrowed clothes but they get along well. And who couldn't deal with some embarrassing stories from their childhood? :)

Why: All but two of our Wardwell boys are graduating! We'll need more to fill in the ranks, especially on the quodpot team.

Character: Jin's siblings Kwan-Hyo, and Eun-Hee. Kwan's a senior in Proctor or Wardwell, and Eun's a sophomore in Osborn [or Proctor if Kwan in Wardwell. None of them are in the same house]. These ages are for the 2010-2011 school year!

Suggested PB: Possibly Sang Bum Kim or Si-Yoon Yoon for Kwan, and Eun Hye Yoon or Moon Geun Young for Eun? Open to other suggestions, though!!

Why: Jin's the weird one in the family. Kwan's supposed to go into the family business, and Eun's supposed to be a proper Korean daughter. I'd love to see whether they really are what their parents intended. Jin's certainly not.

Character: Sophomores for the 2010-2011 school year!

Suggested PB: Anyone who can pass as 15-16, but preferably IS that age!

Why: We only had a tiny handful of freshmen so now we're dangerously short on upcoming sophomores. Plenty of characters have siblings or cousins that we'd love to have in game.

Character: Apple's older brother Forrest (a graduate who played quodpot) and his little sister Blue (a freshman).

Suggested PB: This could get tricky... their mom is part Korean, their dad is Jordanian/English. So anyone of mixed background? If you want help let me know! Boo Boo has a sister in RL so you could always use her for Blue.

Why: Because Apple loves his family! And they have an interesting background. :)

Character: Lucas Parker, [info]faithfullymari's little brother! He'll be a Freshman at the beginning of the new term.
Suggested PB: Up to you as long as he fits into the 14-15 age range. He's too young to have any facial piercings or tattoos though!
Why: Because he annoys Mari and she annoys him! She needs her little brother to push around ;)

Character: Jordan's younger brother Joshua Michael. He's a Bishop soon-to-be sophomore. He's been mentioned as a quodpot player, but that doesn't need to be. I can change his house if need be, but he's not a Proctor.

Suggested PB: Giuseppe Cristiano perhaps? I'm willing to make icons if need be.

Why: Jordan's brother was the first family member he told about being gay, and Josh supported him. At least outwardly. Not really sure if Josh is totally okay with it or if he was just trying to be supportive. But Jordan loves his brother and they're closer to each other than their older, nonmagical siblings who are not at school. I'd just like to see him around!

Character: Lela and Mekala's younger brother Saini, a [preferably] Bishop almost-sophomore

Suggested PB: AJ Perez would be AWESOME. He's Filipino, but he looks like he could fit in to the family well! [icons courtesy of sprucegoose/graphicfaery on IJ]

Why: Lela and Mekala didn't used to get along and we'd like to see how the one brother fits into this family. Also, we could use more sophomores!!
