I loved it and zomg SQUEEEEEE.

Some salient points I noticed and other points of squee

One can be brought back to live even with a shard and a spark donor, so the spark is merely an engine rather than a soul. That could be way open to interpration of course.

The twins were funny in a bratty teenagers way who also knew when to drop the goofing around act and get the job done.

BEE. OMG BEE. He was so badass. He loves Sam. Love isn't just sexual, it is more than eros. It is also philia.

Jetfire. Jetfire made that movie, I swear. He was the grumpy old Guide.

I honestly cried when Optimus sacrificed himself. I was "Oh no, no no no."

Sam echoning Optimus got me going again.

Sam really came into his own here. In the first movie, he was a kid thrust into something that bigger than himself and some of his choices really reflected that. This time around, he knew exactly what the results would be of his decisions and beliefs.

Wheelie. An RC Bigfoot truck who worships Mikaela and calls her 'Warrior Goddess'.

Transformers can cry.

Ironhide got hurt and I was flailing and wincing. Not much of Ratchet either.

Arcee, Chromia and Moonracer. ZOMG.

Sideswipe. Was seriously awesome and very very smexy. I think I ship Bee and Sides in sort of a competitive thing. >.>

Now, I didn't get all the books on my reading list, but I did get a couple and supplemented with some others that I knew were good. I had Little Miss with me, so she had to get some books, but all in all, it was a lovely trip out. Apologies for the blur, I am still figuring out closeup shots.

From the top:
Junie B Jones: I was a Bridesmaid (Almost) [Little Miss]
The Glass Castle - Jeanette Williams
Woe is I
The Gilded Tongue
A Prayer for Owen Meany - John Irving
Mistress - Amanda Quick - my favorite book by her
Helen of Try: Princess, Queen, Whore - Bettany Hughes [Saw it and had to get it.]
The Art of the Butterfly [Little Miss]

crossposted to Inksome, JF and LJ
