| basic. NAME: Caden Summers. AGE & BIRTHDAY: 26. 3rd December, 1998. BLOODLINE: Half-blood. He's a werewolf also. SEXUALITY: Heterosexual. MARITAL STATUS: Single. FORMER SCHOOL & HOUSE: Hogwarts. Hufflepuff. OCCUPATION: Beater for the Ballycastle Bats. personality. Big kid. Anyone who knows Caden knows how much of a kid he can be; he's the type of guy whose usually smiling, a cheerful presence who puts most around him at ease. He's one of those people you will usually like when you first meet him. Generally he's pretty laid back but sometimes he's get the excitability of a puppy, enthused to the max. He's very much the Hufflepuff stereotype sometimes. Don't let his sunny appearance fool you, he isn't all fluff and sunshine. Very protective of his family and any one close to him; he takes his role of older brother very seriously, much to the annoyance of his siblings sometimes! Family means a lot to Caden, especially since he was bitten and they seemed to be the only ones to stick around. If you need help he will do anything he can to make sure you get it. Basically he's one of those genuinely nice people. It makes him a very good friend to have around. Since being bitten he's a little more careful with letting people close. With Leah leaving him and a good few of his 'friends' scarpering also he's found it difficult to trust people enough with such information and keeps new people at arms length. He loves the outdoors, anything practical where he can gets his hands dirty. Sports, camping, rock climbing, Quidditch - if it's a outdoor activity then he'll give it a go without thought. Caden has a habit of somewhat blunt honesty, he just doesn't really mince his words - he says what he means even if that gets him in trouble. IF it does he usually just gives an adorable, he think it's adorable, puppy look as if that'd get him off the hook. A joker, generally he likes to keep things light hearted - in his mind he's had enough 'dark' things happening in his life. As you would imagine there has been some changes to Caden since being bitten but he's trying hard to be just the same ol' Caden. He's careful around his kids and around his family and friends. For a while he found it very difficult to reconcile this sudden change in him but he's now found that just because he's a werewolf does not mean he's a monster. history. FAMILY Father: Owen SummersWhen Adelaide had met Owen she had not thought "this is the man I'm going to fall in love with, marry and have six children with." No, her thought pattern went more like "Ew." Despite that he did end up winning her over; with a lot of patient and creative wooing. Finally after four years of being together they married and welcomed their first children into the word - Caden and Cara Summers. The Summers household was a crazy and loud place. Chaotic in the best sense of the world. With five children they were quite literally all over the place. It's a good job then that they had enough land to roam. Caden grew up in a farm in (Ireland/Scotland), it was this which has given him such a big love for the outdoors. Growing up amongst five other kids meant that he was never alone or bored, there was always someone to play with. What they lacked in money or physical possessions they certainly made up for in love. Yes, it was one of those gushy, supportive families. Childhood was really relatively boring. There were tree fortes, water fights, getting stuck up roofs, a moment when he was nearly trampled by a cow but to Caden this was all relatively normal and he took it in his stride. An ability which would basically stay with him for the remainder of his life. He had a good childhood he feels. Yes, he got in trouble and he's pretty sure his mum has chased him with slippers a time or two but usually he deserved it. Caden was a messy boy, the kind who would go off perfectly clean in the morning and return home late at night with frog spawn in his pocket and his shirt ripped, knees cut and mud in his hair. He was adventurous and very, very boyish. Another thing he never grew out of really. From an early age Caden set his place in the family as the protective brother. As the first son he was (to him) leader of the little pack of Summers. Along side his twin, Cara, he was always up to something, watching over his troops and keeping them together. Family is, and has always will be, a big thing to Caden. Hogwarts came, of course, and Caden was sorted into Hufflepuff. Slightly to his mothers horror who had expected him to at least go into Gryffindor. Adelaide was brought up in a very Pureblood traditional home and while she'd accepted the fact that Caden was unlikely to be a Slytherin she still held some disdain for the 'Hufflepuffs' of the world, thinking them nothing more than cheerful, over zealous doormats. Like with much of his life Caden greeted Hogwarts with his usual level of enthusiasm and found it all to be a great adventure. Especially the surrounds of Hogwarts which Caden was often found basking in. General school passed with minimal excitement, he enjoyed himself of course but nothing really of interest happened to him until he made Beater in his third year. It was a spot which Caden loved, an active place within a team where rough and tumble was allowed. In his seventh year he met Leah, a Gryffindor who was as energetic as Caden and able to keep up with him. He asked her to the Yule Ball and things progressed from there. The relationship had it's ups and downs but somehow it last, somehow it worked out. After leaving Hogwarts Caden wasn't really sure what he wanted to do...until he was approached to go in to Quidditch. Do nothing or go into Quidditch? Mm, you can guess which one he picked. At the tender of age 18 and a few months Caden joined the Ballycastle Bats, which made him excited like a little kid because there his team. Life was pretty normal. Caden and Leah moved in, he even proposed and everything was going grand. Then tragedy struck. Last year he was attacked when coming home from the pub. At first he just thought it was simply a stray dog, something big and nasty but nothing serious. Then he found out it had actually been a werewolf. Caden was...devastated but like many things he took it in his stride in some ways. There was nothing he could do about it so why mope? It wasn't until Leah left that it really emotionally hit him. She couldn't handle having a werewolf fiancée and walked out. Luckily Caden has his friends and family, people who loved and trusted him. The next few months to a year was difficult. There were a lot of ups and downs, mostly downs but the most important thing was that he tried. With the support of his friends and family Caden did come to terms with was he'd suddenly become, he understood that werewolf and monster were not one and the same.
