you just have to change your layout a little bit- like from clean and simple to generator or something, that worked for mine

Um, forgive me if I've missed it - but I have a suggestion, and I don't see a suggestion post. I know you guys are working hard (and I appreciate it!) but I was just wondering if in the future, a layout without a sidebar (for navigation through the site) might be a possibility? Similar perhaps to LJ or InsaneJournal. ( I think they have one with the bar across the top, in the latter case.)

And er- I don't know if there's also a search on this site similar to the one on LJ (instead of site-wide search with unnecessary details?) Just for looking up a user name/ community. LJ has it in the top right corner of the site, but... yeah. The side bar layout has me a tad confused.

While I don't have info on how long these things will take, I can point you at my journal, which I've been taking suggestions in informally. I'm going to post a suggestions post now that I realize we don't have anything like that. :)

i know you say that the cycle runs automatically for purging journals but there are a few that i know have been purged for more than 60 days because i have been watching for them.

Well, I *thought* it ran automatically. But maybe I don't have that set up in the crontab. I'll run a purge in the next few days.

There are a lot of scammers in that community that lie about names they own, suspending them just because they mentioned them offsite and you have no proof that that particular user owns them isn't very professional.
