Kindly unspoken
You show your emotion
And silence speaks louder than words
It’s lucky I’m clever
If I didn’t know better
I’d believe only that which I’d heard
So don’t keep me up till the dawn
With words that’ll keep leading me on

OOC Information: Name: Lena Age: 35 Timezone: EST Contact Information: You have it. :P Experience: None at all, duh. IC Information: Name: Michael Gabriel Pucey Age and Birthdate: February 20 Parents: Adrian Pucey and Alicia Spinnet Siblings and Cousins: Ryan (2022) Samuel (2024) Career/Occupation: Reporter for Quidditch Weekly House and Year: 2016 Ravenclaw PB: James Macavoy In-Game Connections: BFFs with Victorie Weasley! History: Michael was always an athletic and energetic child, though the spoiling by his parents and grandparents also led to him being a bit of a moody child, as well. He was perfectly fine when he was getting his way, of course, but he easily became moody and sullen if he couldn't have what he wanted. Unfortunately, his parents didn't do much to dissuade this and he never really grew out of his tendency to sulk (though at least rarely threw actual tantrums as he grew older). It was a surprise to everyone that he was sorted into Ravenclaw. He'd always been so energetic and seemingly ruled by his moods and emotions. Michael, himself, was pleased, hopeful that he would be taken more seriously in the house he was sorted into. He well there, too, making his share of friends and excelling in both Quidditch and Potions, while History fo Magic and Arithmancy became the bane of his existence. He dropped History of Magic after OWLs, but he worked his arse off to make it into the NEWT level Arithmancy class, just to prove that he could, that he was more than just a dumb jock who'd ended up sorted into Ravenclaw through some fluke - which is what he was sure people thought of him. Michael dated around plenty, too. He spent some time with [Your Character Here?] at the Yule Ball in their fourth year, even though neither of them had come together, and by the end of the term they were dating. He wrote her nearly every day over the summer holidays and counted the days until they would be back at Hogwarts together. Their romance lasted for a good part of fifth year - until he had a slight tantrum over the end of a Quidditch match and that girl dumped him. He was with another girl a week later, but that relationship was short-lived, too. In truth, Michael was never serous about any of the girls he dated. He treated them alright and they had a good time, but he was far too young to be really tying himself down. He'd tried to remain friends with them, even past the end of those relationships. After all, you never know when they might be good for a snog down the road. Personality: Michael is definitely not your typical Ravenclaw. With his quick temper and wild mood swings, one might wonder how he ended up in that House at all. His moods are erratic, going from laughing and joking one minute to sulking about something the next. It's almost as though there are multiple versions of Michael and you never quite know which one you are going to get. Michael is an athlete more than anything else. He loves sports in general, but, of course, Quidditch really tops the list. While he's always been fascinated by the Muggle sports his mates talked about while they were all at Hogwarts, Quidditch will always be his first love. He's deeply passionate about the sport and he'll sink into quite the sulky mood when his team has lost. He's not a good loser at all, so when playing a game, it's probably best to just let him win if you don't want to deal with the mood losing will put him it. The man will whine and sulk like a five year old after he's been beaten. Despite being known more for his athletic ability and extreme mood swings, Michael is pretty smart. He has a good mind, when he puts it to use and a fair amount of common sense. He can sometimes lack focus and it's true that he has trouble really sitting still for long periods of time when he's in his happier, bouncier moods, but the intellect and the desire to learn is there. Michael has been a flirt pretty much since the moment he hit puberty. He dated his way through most of the female population of Hogwarts and he has a tendency to flirt with anything in a skirt, even that large collection of exes. He can't quite help himself. Flirting comes as naturally as breathing to him. He would never intentionally mistreat a girl he's involved with and he's never exactly lied to get a girl into bed - he's just never been all that serious about any of the women he's been with. He doesn't see anything wrong with his lifestyle - they're all consenting adults and as long as everyone involved is enjoying themselves, it's all good, right? Anything Else: He's a total crybaby when he loses.. anything. He should be mocked for this often. Blurb: The eldest Pucey had a bit of a reputation for being a sore loser - whether it's Quidditch or a game of Wizard's chess. His tendency to sulk is a source of amusement for some and causes others to roll their eyes or avoid him. Beyond that, though, Mike is smarter than people give him credit for and he's dated his way through.. most of the girls he went to school with. And a few he didn't. He treats them well, though, having inherited, at least, his father's sense of chivalry. |
