I really wasn't happy with my layout before but I kinda accepted that I would have to find a way to make it look pretty without the fallback of flexible squares css - which I find on LJ.
So I was going through all the layouts available on here, but I couldn't get it to look right. I even tried putting in flexible squares and smooth sailing css codes in the overrides section!!...so ridiculous - it's just not designed for that.
Anyway I thought I'd search a little deeper and used google. It came up with a post in an inksome comm on LJ which was really useful because there where links, old links, but links, to stylesheets for flexible squares, smooth sailing etc.
And after all that babbling I'm happy to say the instructions and stylesheet worked, I can't add any more overrides in the usual way without a url but it's easy enough to edit the layer to make the layout look different :)
The layout's still not great, and it's kinda dark, but I see it as a work in progress. And if anyone wants to help me along the way I would love you forever!!!!!!!!
