History:
+ Has four blissful years of her parents showing her some form of affection before her younger sister Jayden comes along, at which point Jayden becomes the favored daughter and suddenly nothing Dari does is right.
+ Becomes further estranged as she begins Hogwarts and refuses to subscribe to her parents' blood purist ideals. Such views are completely outdated, from her frame of mind, and she doesn't discriminate in who she chooses to spend time with.
+ Is kissed for the first time the summer she is 13 - by her best friend Jeremy Pitt, the boy who grew up in the house next door to her. She's known him since she was a toddler, but thinks nothing of the shift in their relationship.
+ Loses her virginity to Jeremy the Christmas of her fourth year - the two are bored at a party and pretend to take a "tour" of Jeremy house. His father interrupts, but is the coolest dad ever and merely mutters that he hopes they're using the right charm before he leaves them to it.
+ Joins the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in her 5th year. Also sends herself to the hospital wing after starving herself of nutrients and sleep while preparing for OWLs. Her parents lecture her about embarrassing the family, while the Pitts show some actual concern for her well-being.
+ By 6th year, she has fooled around with her fair share of the boys in school, including Jeremy. Her arrangement with him comes to and end - twice, as she temporarily leaves school only to return a few months later - though, when a girl he is interested in demands they be exclusive. Dari is not a fan.
+ In the spring of her 6th year, Dari's father goes missing for several days and as he comes home, she goes to visit for a weekend. It's a good visit with them getting on for once, but she finds herself missing Jeremy more than she could have expected. During the trip back to school, she realizes that her feelings have grown beyond friendship. Before she finds the nerve to tell him, though, she finds that his old girlfriend is back in the picture. Not wanting to ruin his happiness, she stays silent on the matter.
+ May 2016 - Dari realizes she is pregnant. OH NOES! :( The baby was conceived in mid-March, but she hadn't been paying attention to her cycles and has just realized. Once it's confirmed, she and Jeremy make plans to get a flat together after school ends. Dari won't be returning to Hogwarts for her 7th year.

Personality:
Dari is one of the sweetest, most down-to-earth women you will ever meet. She's generous to a fault, kind-hearted, and always willing to believe the best about people, even when she probably shouldn't.

It doesn't take long in her company to figure out that Dari is something of a nerd. Her nose is frequently found in a book, whether it happens to be for learning or for leisurely reading. She used to sneak Muggle books into her room growing up, something which carried on through Hogwarts and now that she's living on her own in the adult world, Muggle literature has become something of an addiction. She's still working her way through all the classics. In point of fact, her husband often teases her that she won't even drop the book from her hand when they make love (which she will tell you is completely false - she's not that much of a nerd!).

She's a friendly and social girl, despite her tendency to loose herself in books and other more academic pursuits. Dari loves to have fun, just like any other young woman. She enjoys shopping and gossiping and just hanging out. She's far from shy and will happily approach a complete stranger and strike up a conversation with them. Dari has always made friends easily, even if they haven't been close friends.

Despite her surface friendliness, she's a little bit guarded when it comes to her heart. While she has many casual friends and acquaintances, Dari is truly close to few people. She has her few childhood best friends, the people who know her better than they know themselves, and she's perfectly friendly to everyone else, but she doesn't allow just anyone to see what's in her heart, nor does she freely speak about her feelings or innermost desires to most people. She's outgrown her childhood insecurities for the most part, but really letting people in is still a bit of a challenge for her, sometimes.

Anything Else: She has a tattoo on the sweet spot of her hip. She also has the Celtic word for friendship tattooed on her ankle - Ashleigh has a matching one in the same spot.

Pregnant at 17, Dari could easily be considered a statistic, another girl who made a bad choice and ruined her life. Dari doesn't see it that way. Happily married to her best friend and the love of her life, marriage and motherhood really suit Dari perfectly. She's deeply in love with her husband a good 7 years later and she really loves being a mom. That she didn't finish Hogwarts, while it felt tragic at the time, is hardly a blip on her radar anymore.
