14. Milk
Oh man. This movie made me cry several times, because Harvey Milk.... what a fucking inspiration. He did so much in little time, and he impacted millions of people. It's a shame gay and lesbians STILL don't have the same rights as straight people- a damn fucking shame.
I just HAD to laugh at Dan White's lame reasoning- an imbalanced diet of junk food?! Shit, if that was the case probably half the nation would be crazy right now. It was a weird defense, none the less.
Also, I heard Latino magazine said Diego Luna was the worst actor last year because of his work in Milk, and I don't get why. He was perfect as this horribly jealous and insecure person, and loco to boot. I think all the actors were good, but I'm surprised Diego didn't get any award nominations for his acting in that movie. |
