Who: Taavi Suullinen & Vincenc Reznik
What: Taavi thinks he's seeing things, but no, Vincenc really is still there.
When: Between classes on Monday.
Where: In the hallways
Rating: Worksafe, maybe.

Taavi thought he was going a bit mad. Twice this morning alone he'd sworn he'd seen a raven. Not just any raven. He swore he saw Stínohra. Where she was, Vincenc was never far behind. But that made no sense. Vincenc had graduated, the was no reason for him to still be at school. At least that's what Taavi had to keep telling himself. Stínohra wasn't there. Simple as that.

Or not, because there she was again, cawing softly, almost as though teasing him. Taavi stopped in his tracks and just stared, feeling a familiar prickling sensation along the back of his neck. He had the sudden distinct feeling, that if he turned around, Vincenc Reznik would be standing right behind him.

Transfiguring and Healing [Open to Vincenc]
Who: Taavi Suullinen & Vincenc Reznik
What: Taavi does a bit of independent studying, documenting a link between healing and transfiguration.
When: After dinner, Tuesday
Where: The library
Rating: PG-13ish

Taavi knew, especially since there was precedence for it, that there was a strong link between healing and transfiguration. He knew he still had plenty of time before he got to eighth year [if he did], but he had the idle thought that a link between the two - and not necessarily in the same vein as the book he owned - could be documented, and explored. If anything it can be used to develop new way of healing injured people. Maybe even healing mental illness.

The idle thought grew stronger until Taavi decided he needed to write down everything he was thinking, and possibly seek out some research. It was with this in mind that he settled himself in the library with three books, deeply engrossed in his work and oblivious to those around him. Blond hair formed a curtain around his face, hiding it from view and making him look, at quick glance, like a girl.

After a long moment, Taavi took a break, sliding his most recent letter from his penpal Anabella out to continue writing to her. It had been a while, and he felt bad for taking so long to respond. She was incredibly flirty, which he wasn't really sure how to handle, but he decided to just relax and write back. No harm no foul, right?

Clearing a Few Things Up.
Who: Vincenc Reznik and Matthias Fettkenheuer.
What: Vincenc and Matthias have a discussion about Saturday's match.
When: Sunday, April 26th, around 12:30 pm.
Where: The library.
Rating: PG/PG-13.

Vincenc had been at Saturday's quidditch match, and while he appreciated the Dark Path victory, he was not entirely satisfied with the means with which it was achieved. In fact, as he'd watched Taavi plummet to the ground, it had taken far more restraint than Vincenc had anticipated not to hex Fettkenheuer to death then and there. It was one of the reasons Vincenc had decided to wait to seek out the 6th year. It gave his temper, his thirst for blood, enough time to chill to a nice, icy thrum.

With Stínohra's help, Vincenc was able to locate Matthias in the library not very long after brunch. With a morsel for the raven in thanks, Vincenc sent her off before entering the library, eyes scanning for the 6th year.

Valentine's Day Ball. [All are invited]
Who: Everyone who wants to attend
What: Annual Valentine's Day Ball
Where: The Ballroom.
When: 7PM-12 AM, Friday February 13th

The ballroom of the Durmstrang Institute was lit with perfectly achieved mood lighting. Tables were set up, but the dance floor was clear. There was a spread of food and drink, mostly leaning towards snacks and light refreshment. Dinner had only been an hour before, and the students would likely be well fed already.

Most staff members were already in attendance, setting up or otherwise making sure everything was set to go. Several students had already started trickling in, the habitual early-birds who could never arrive at any kind of event late. Some were too eager to wait after dinner, and, instead of finding ways to kill time, showed up just as the doors opened. The party would last several hours of music, dancing and food, for every student and staff member at Durmstrang to enjoy.

[OOC: Attire is semi-formal. Professors keep a watchful eye out for mischievous students. The punch will not be spiked, and any student who tries will be ejected from the party. There are children as young as eleven theoretically attending [doubtful, but possible]. Mischief is acceptable so long as it's something that won't get someone in too much trouble. I will tag this as people show up, since I'm not sure who's going. Feel free to add a tag if you get to it first].

Happy Birthday, Taavi.
When Taavi wakes in the morning, he will find a small black box with a gold ribbon resting on his pillow. A brief note resting on top simply reads, "Happy Birthday, pet."

[Thread] Learn Your Place. (Open to Vincenc)
Who: Taavi Suullinen and Vincenc Reznik
What: Vincenc corners Taavi because Taavi's been avoiding him. Again.
When: After Healing Charms class on Wednesday the 15th.
Where: Starting out in the corridors.

Avoiding Vincenc Reznik was not an easy thing when the eighth year was assisting in Taavi's clases twice a week. Thursdays Taavi could slip out and head quickly for his next class, but Wednesdays, Taavi's only escape was a hastily crafted plan. He'd gather his belongings and hurry from the room, ducking down a corridor to don his Invisibility Cloak in hopes Vincenc wouldn't loose Stínohra after him. The last time he had, the bird had found Taavi, cawing at him as she did to follow her to where Vincenc waited. The last time, Taavi hadn't gone.

It was foolish, he knew, but he couldn't help himself. Since the announcement at the Reznik New Year's party, he'd felt torn. Upon returning to school, he'd done his best to avoid Vincenc. After all, the eighth year was engaged to Liesl Kronenberg now. Things were different, and Taavi was trying to accept it. Though why it should be such a hard thing to accept ate at Taavi to the point where he was distracted, even in his best class.

This Wednesday he enacted his plan with haste, darting from the room in the first swell of students leaving. He avoided eye contact with Vincenc, as he'd done all class, and turned down a corridor. When he was sure no one was watching, he donned his cloak, slipping back out into the hallway. He just needed to get to the dining hall, get dinner, and vanish again.

The Reznik New Year's Eve Party [open to selected staff and students]
Who: All invited guests and some unexpected, those of whom can be found here.
What: The Reznik New Year's Eve Party.
Where: The Reznik Estate.
When: 7 PM to 4 AM - Wednesday, December 31st through Thursday, January 1st.

The Reznik New Year's Party was one of the social events of the season. Almost anyone who was anyone, the best and brightest of the wizarding families, would be attending and the grand ballroom was decorated accordingly. All the wreaths and boughs were freshened up and strung with fairy lights - made with only the best and brightest fairies, of course - to give the large room a soft, whimsical glow and clean winter scent. Tables were set about around the perimeter of the room to allow guests to sit and eat if they wished, while trays of hors d'oeuvres floated unobtrusively around the room to serve mingling guests.

Dalibor and Hedvika Reznik had been making the rounds through the growing crowd for about an hour, chatting with guests and greeting others as they arrived. Vincenc, dressed in staid but formal black, had been doing much of the same, while keeping an eye out for the arrival of anyone interesting. Considering who was supposed to be attending, he didn't expect to be disappointed.

[Secret Santa] For Professor Varga.
Who: Professor Szabina Varga and Vincenc Reznik.
What: A little gift-giving.
Where: Outside the staff common room.
When: A little before lunch, Sunday December 14th.

This past week had been incredibly busy for Vincenc what with the intense studying and exams he'd had to deal with. And then there had been the unexpected pleasure of Taavi's company Friday night. Then, of course, he'd had to pack and get his things in order Saturday. So it wasn't really any wonder he'd had to wait until Sunday to seek out Professor Varga to present her with her gifts.

The neatly wrapped package tucked under one arm, Vincenc looked for Professor Varga outside the Staff Common Room, hoping to catch her before he had to leave for the holidays.

[Private message to Vincenc Reznik, sent by owl]
I need to request a favor from you. It seems I need to find a place to rent for a day - or night - in Durmstadt. Someplace nice but not too expensive, where privacy and discretion is honored. Since I've never had occasion to seek an establishment like this, I'd need a few suggestions. Do you perhaps have any favorites you'd recommend?

Where: Vincenc's room

[Thread] Dining with the Devil. (Open to Vincenc)
Who: Taavi Suullinen and Vincenc Reznik
What: Have a little talk about after the Dark Path party, and about Vasili Borisenko.
When: Saturday November 15th
Where: The Kleiner Deustchmann, Durmstadt
Rating: PG-13 for likely talk of sex and possibly a few disturbing themes.

Nervous, his hands fiddling with the buttons on his overcoat, Taavi paused outside the Kleiner Deutschmann. He had never been there before and silently thanked Merlin Vincenc had told him to dress casual. He didn't want to call too much attention to himself. Though that was the least of his worries. He was more focused on how he was supposed to sit down to dinner with Vincenc like they were old friends when the memory of what went on after the Dark Path party was not only looming over him, but would be a topic of discussion as well.

He summed up his nerve and stepped inside. He was precisely on time, a feat accomplished by almost neurotic attention paid to his pocket watch. He'd be perpetually late without it. As soon as he was inside, he unbuttoned his coat, took off his hat and gloves, and scanned the room to see in Vincenc had already arrived.

[Thread] Clash of swords. (Open to Vincenc)
Who: Heinrich Kronenberg and Vincenc Reznik
What: Have a sparring session
When: Saturday Nov 8th after lunch
Where: One of the Combative Magic classrooms.
Rating: PG. Smashing of swords, but no gore. One can only hope.

Heinrich had been off all week. He knew exactly why, and that had him even more irritable. Lidia Gorski was a constant presence, both in class and in his head. It didn't help that Johann seemed to actually like her. Johann liked precisely three people: himself, Liesl, and Vincenc. Well, four now, including Lidia, and that didn't sit well with Heinrich.

But it was Saturday, and that meant sparring with Vincenc, with the sword he'd been given for his birthday. Dressed and ready, Heinrich headed to the Combative Magic room Vincenc told him to meet him at. He needed to blow off some steam and this was a good way to do it.

[Thread] My Time is Coming to an End (Open to Vincenc)
Who: Professor Radomira & Vincenc Reznik.
What: The end of a life.
Where: The Physical Magic Integration II classroom.
When: Tuesday morning.

As Viktorie stood off to the side watching her students, her mind wasn't really on what they were doing. Her mother had been writing her letters on a regular basis, mostly due to family issues that were growing to be too much of a hassle for her mother to deal with. The letters brought with it a certain sense of guilt as well as anger that always came with thinking on that particular issue. The weight was crushing, and while she could normally ignore it, her mother was persistant in her letter-writing.

"Reznik," Professor Radomira barked his name out as she started to move forward. "Front and center." She picked her wand up and moved to the front of the class. The solution was positively clear, and Viktorie wasn't sure why she hadn't thought of it before. "I want to duel. Let's give the students something to remember." There was a slight curve to the right of her mouth, though it was a cold gesture.

Dark Path Party [open to selected staff and students]
Who: All Dark Path students and staff who wish to attend, plus any invited guests.
What: Dark Path party, yo.
Where: The Ballroom.
When: 11PM to 4 AM, Friday October 31st/Saturday November 1st.

One hour after the ballroom doors closed at ten PM, making sure every last student had left, Headmistress Eberhardt cast a spell on its doors and on every entrance in. No student or staff member who wasn't invited could enter the room. It didn't matter what spell a clever student tried to cast, by what method they tried to circumvent the spell, there would be no way in without an invitation. The decorations were taken down, changed, for a darker theme. The room rearranged, and in less than an hour the ballroom had been transformed.

The dance floor was still open and clear, but there was more food set up for students who would undoubtedly grow hungry before the party's end. Any dish student wanted would appear, just like in the dining hall. The doors reopened precisely at eleven PM, but would only admitted those who belonged there. As the party got under way, music filled the rooms as the night's guest showed up.

[OOC: Okay, so again the people who can attend are: Headmistress Eberhardt, Ambros Pakhunov, Mikhail Baikov, Liesl Kronenberg, Vincenc Reznik, Judita Radomira, Taavi Suullinen, Kristof Yurkovic, Heinrich Kronenberg, and Lidia Gorski. If anyone else wants to attend, feel free to come up with a way they got invited (NPC, sibling, friend, etc) and join in].

All Hallow's Eve Party. [All are invited]
Who: Everyone who wants to attend
What: Halloween party, duh
Where: The Ballroom.
When: 7-10 PM, Friday October 31st.

Some were too eager to wait after changing in costumes following dinner, and, instead of finding ways to kill times, showed up just as the doors opened.

The party would last three hours, until the doors closed again to prepare for the Dark Path party. But that was three hours of music, dancing and food, for every student and staff member at Durmstrang to enjoy.

[OOC: Costumes and masks are not required, but they're often customary. Professors keep a watchful eye out for mischievous students. The punch will not be spiked, and any student who tries will be ejected from the party. There are children as young as eleven theoretically attending. Mischief is acceptable so long as it's something that won't get someone in too much trouble. I'm tagging this with everyone I know of who said they'd attend. [thread] Potential. [Open to Vincenc]
Who: Taavi and Vincenc
What: Vincenc stops by to discuss Taavi's 'potential'. Taavi gets an unexpected invitation.
Where:
Dining hall
When: Lunchtime, Wednesday the 15th
Rating: PGish?

Taavi had been out of sorts the last few days. He was certainly quieter than usual, a fact easily noticed by his friends. He tried not to draw too much attention to himself in class, but it was getting harder and harder to hide in Healing Charms class, and it was getting just as hard to avoid Vincenc Reznik. The eighth year was continuously helping out in the Charms class, and Taavi found himself continuously looking over his own shoulder, expecting the older boy to be there watching from the shadows, more so since he'd pounced on him in the empty CombativeMagic classroom.

Taavi was doing that now, half concentrating on his food and half eying the room to see if anyone was skulking anywhere. He knew how paranoid he must have seemed and it took great effort to just calm down and eat his lunch. It didn't help that Kristof and Katarina were both busy elsewhere.

[Thread] Prey. (Open to Vincenc)
Who: Taavi Suullinen and Vincenc Reznik
What: Vincenc corners Taavi.
Where: The library
When: After dinner in the library, before Quidditch, Thursday the 11th.

Taavi headed off to the library to work on some Herbology homework, researching the regenerative properties of some lesser known magical plants, but his mind kept drifting to his two most action-packed classes. Transfiguration, easily his most fun class, where he got to watch his professor quite closely, and Healing Charms, his best subject, but the class Vincenc Reznik helped out in so very often.

The eighth year was so incredibly unsettling; it was clear how much he enjoyed inflicting curses on the students, with or without detailed instruction from Professor Faust. Taavi idly wondered why the professor had chosen someone like Reznik to work with his class, but personality aside, Taavi had to admit that it was because the eighth year was good at what he did. Which was hurt people and inspire terror apparently. Taavi wanted even less to admit, that despite his utter creepiness, Vincenc Reznik was unfortunately really, really attractive.

Thinking of Vincenc Reznik however brought to mind the disturbing warning he'd gotten from Ion Laieshi. He couldn't very well avoid the eighth year like the boy had warned him to, not when Vincenc was in in Healing Charms class twice a week. But he was taking a bit of care. His Invisibility Cloak helped him slip away after class earlier, and he hoped to keep that up for as long as he could. He sucked idly on the end of a Sugar Quill as he lost himself in thought.
