Annual Halloween Party
Who: All students and staff, plus a few spirits and perhaps an uninvited guest. Please tag your character when you comment.
What: The annual Halloween party
Where: The Ballroom.
When: 7PM to 1 AM. While the party officially ends at 1 AM, celebrations don't have to.

The hallway leading to the ballroom was dark, only dimly lit by floating candles held by ghostly hands, a levitation charm wrapped in conjuration magic. Decorations lined the walls, everything lending a still, ghostly air to the already dark and quiet school. The doors at the end of the hall opened into the decorated ballroom, swathed in tones of red and blacks, again sparsely lit. Light concentrated by the food, so attendees would be able to see what exactly they were eating, though perhaps that wasn't for the best. The food had been carefully made and cleverly charmed to look positively questionable.

Charmed ghosts hung around corners of the room, pale shadows and translucent white images that were meant to unsettle, not terrify. Along one wall lay the carefully crafted image of rows broken dolls, mingled with what looked like skeletons and a few fleshier bodies. The staff had clearly gone all out this year to infuse the room with the creepy air of Halloween. Some things looked a little too real.

The doors opened precisely at seven PM, as smoky fog rolled along the floor and eerie laughter echoed from somewhere in the rooms. Sounds and screams punctuated the halls, setting the stage for what was going to be one hell of a party.

OOC: We will be putting up time stamps for students to arrive when they wish and interact. After a bit, we will post a new thread with plot bits. Anything posted beneath that post will take place chronologically afterward, and students can react accordingly. Everyone is encouraged to attend, mingle, and be prepared.

Who: Misha Vladimirovich & Open
What: Misha discovers something unusual on the grounds.
When: After dinner on Wednesday.
Where: Out on school grounds.
Rating: Worksafe

Misha was already bored. Classes had only just begun, and while he was grateful that he had made it into eighth year, and even more so to be in classes with Sasha again, he was restless. He needed something to do, something fun and he wasn't getting that sitting in classes. It wasn't dark yet as he strolled out onto the grounds. He idly wondered if the beast from before break was still roaming about, and whether the woods had become any safer.

He looked off into the woods, trying to resist the lure of exploring. He nearly did when he noticed something strange on one of the trees, something glowing white, and somewhat small. Curious, he started to approach, heedless off possible danger. He did, however, draw his wand, just in case.

Grey Path Party [open to selected staff and students]
Who: All Grey Path students and any invited guests.
What: Grey Path party, yo.
Where: The Ballroom.
When: 11PM to 4 AM, Friday June 19th/Saturday June 20th.

The Durmstrang ballroom had once again been magically transformed into a stunningly decorated hall. Headmistress Eberhardt cast a spell on its doors and on every entrance. No student or staff member who was not invited could enter the room. It didn't matter what spell a clever student tried to cast, by what method they tried to circumvent the spell, there would be no way in without an invitation.

The dance floor was open and clear, and there was food set up for students who would undoubtedly grow hungry before the party's end. Any dish student wanted would appear, just like in the dining hall. The doors opened precisely at eleven PM, but would only admitted those who belonged there. As the party began to get under way, music filled the room as the night's guests showed up.

[OOC: Okay, so again the people who can attend are: Headmistress Eberhardt, Nastasiya Kostenko, Dorottya Kováts, Kirsten Nordlund, Kazimeras Seraichyk, Sasha Vladimirovich, Theonia Lekkas, Taavi Suullinen, Misha Vladimirovich, and Ion Laieshi. If you play a Grey Path, you may invite whoever you choose. If anyone else wants to attend, feel free to come up with a way they got invited (NPC, sibling, friend, etc) and join in. Also, please tag your characters as they enter!]

EDIT: And the punch may or may not will be spiked with alcohol. Drinker beware.

Another jam session? [Misha & Antigone]
Who:Misha Vladimirovich & Antigone Kaligaris
What: Misha chills with Antigone, possibly jamming
When: Backdated to Sunday the 24th
Where: Light path Common room first and then who knows!
Rating: PGish?

Misha was actually rather eager to spend time with Antigone again. He'd liked the girl, and the fact she played guitar like him was major bonus. He left Sasha to talk to his roommate and headed back to the Light Path Common room to meet Antigone. While he waited, he settled down and starting picking out an old Ukrainian folk tune on his guitar. He began humming along, not quite singing the words as he waited for his music partner to arrive.

Out on the town
Who: Misha Vladimirovich and Erika Hasdeu
What: Misha takes her on a date, and something unpleasant happens later
When: April 12th, six-thirty PM.
Where: Grey path common room, then Durmstadt
Rating: R, for unexpected violence.

Misha tucked his shirt into his pants, straightening his collar before turning toward his twin. "Stunning yes?" he asked, a teasing smile on his lips. He'd chosen to dress for his date and wait with Sasha until it was time to meet her. It was only when six-thirty grew closer that he affectionately bid his twin adieu, warning him to be careful. He headed out towards the common room, flopping into a comfortable chair to with the arrival of his date.

He wasn't entirely thrilled at the thought of leaving his twin, especially not with what had been happening lately. But there was nothing he could do about bad dreams, and Sasha had insisted that Misha go about his plans as per usual, without letting thoughts of him distract him. Easier said than done, of course, but Misha agreed. He waited as the time grew closer to six-thirty and tried to keep the thought of what he could not control out of his head.

What's really going on? [Open to Sasha]
Who: Misha and Sasha Vladimirovich
What: Misha takes Sasha out, tries not to say 'I told you so,' and tries to find out what his twin's been keeping from him.
When: March 28th, after the Quidditch game.
Where: School, then off to Marseilles
Rating: PG-13, possibly higher
Warnings: There will be allusions to twincest, and possibly actual smut so beware.

To his credit, Misha didn't say 'I told you so' once after Seeker Katarina Yurkovic came swooping down on her broom, Golden Snitch in hand. He'd insisted to Sasha that Light Path would win this match, despite the prowess of the Grey team, and he was thrilled to see he'd been right. At least for this match.

Honestly though, Misha wasn't really focused on the Quidditch match. He was focused on Sasha. Sasha had been keeping something from him, and Misha had no idea what. He merely knew Sasha wasn't being truthful about it being schoolwork and general business that had him looking paler and unrested.

He frowned as he hoisted his overnight bag onto his shoulder, deciding they could go to Marseilles, eat, enjoy themselves, and then he'd ask his brother was was really going on. "Sasha, my love," he said in their strange unique-to-them language. "Are you ready to go?"

Unusual company. Open to Erika
Who: Misha and Erika
What: Random encounter. Cue Misha flirting with a pretty girl.
When: Sunday afternoon, before dinner.
Where: The school grounds.
Rating: PG, maybe PG13 at most.

Misha was not a contemplative sort. He focused on school work when he needed to, and when he didn't, he just looked for something to entertain him. So it was a bit out of character for him to leave Sasha studying Ancient Runes while he slipped outside, wrapped in his school cloak. Leaning against the school building, he stared off in the direction of the woods where he'd found the werewolf tracks. He hadn't gone back there, not after he'd mentioned it to Sasha and accidentally upset and worried his twin.

But he couldn't stop thinking about it. What was a werewolf doing so close to the school grounds? What had stopped it from actually killing the Crup and having it for dinner? His brow furrowed with thought as he sorted through his memory for typical werewolf behavior. Maybe he could get to the bottom of this without going into the woods, without provoking worry from Sasha or the kind of danger even he couldn't handle. He was so uncharacteristically deep in thought that he didn't notice he was not alone.

Who: Mykhailo Bohdan and Open.
What: Taking care of a sick Crup.
When: After classes on Tuesday.
Where: Outside, but still on school grounds.

"Professor Bohdan! Professor Bohdan!" When Mykhailo looked up from the stack of papers he was reading through, he saw a young student rushing into his office as fast as her little legs could carry her. Tears were pressing at the corners of her eyes, and instantly his eyebrows arched quickly. "Professor Bohdan! You have to come quick! Something's happened!" For a few seconds Mykhailo's heart clenched and his chest tightened. The student was already tugging on his hand, her tiny little hands looking ridiculously petite around his arm. "There's a Crup outside and it's been bitten! It's bleeding really badly, and it's whining and you have to save it!"

Letting out a sigh of what could have been called relief escaped him once he realized that it wasn't something wrong with Szabina, and he was already walking down the hallway with the student, his wand tucked in at his side. "It'll be okay, Carmina. Just show me where it is and we'll take a look at it." Mykhailo was calm about the situation now, even though the girl was panicked. "Do you know how it got onto school grounds?" He looked down at her curiously and the girl nodded slowly. "I brought him back with me after the weekend. He looked hungry and I thought I would just feed him a little bit and send him back on his way. But I think -- I mean, it looks like something bit him!" His lips pursed slightly and though he knew that she would have to be spoken to about bringing a strange animal onto school grounds, he thought better than to do it right now.

They made their way out to the yard where a group of students were gathered around the whining animal. Frowning lightly, Mykhailo moved through the small crowd until he saw the crup laying there. Moving to his knees, he leaned closer to inspect the bite mark on the creature's thigh. "Oh, my..."

Jamming with Antigone. Open to Sasha and Antigone
Who: Misha & Sasha Vladimirovich and Antigone Kaligaris
What: Have an impromptu jam session on guitars
When: January 12th, after dinner.
Where: An empty classroom

Misha had barely kept his fingers off his new guitar since he'd received it. It was his favorite gift from Sasha, obviously, and he treated it like the prize it was. He'd left it secreted in his room during classes and dinner, but the second he was free, he went to get it, preparing to meet Antigone Kaligaris and have an impromptu music session.

He didn't know the girl much besides her name and path. She was Greek, which put her at the bottom of the barrel, and someone a Ukrainian shouldn't associate with. But Misha didn't know anyone else who played guitar, and he didn't dwell on her nationality. Instead, he sat in an empty classroom, picking out the first few strains of an old Russian folk song before playing it loudly and cheerfully. If Antigone didn't know which classroom he was in, it wouldn't be hard to follow the music and find him. Next to him Sasha sat, listening to him play.
