Quidditch Match
Finals match: Grey vs. Light
Score: Grey: 170, Light: 300

The very last game of the Quidditch season, the finals, for the Quidditch crest. Grey and Light path battled it out, neck and neck throughout the game. It appeared the teams have practiced quite a bit and yet were still nearly evenly matched. Goal for goal, they stayed barely ten points apart for several grueling hours.

The tides only turned when the Snitch made its appearance. The Seekers struggled to catch it first and win the game, and thus te cup, but it was nearly another hour before the Light Path Seeker finally managed to outstrip Grey and catch the snitch, when Grey was 2 goals up. Final score was 300 to 170, in favor of Light Path.

The Quidditch crest will sit in the Light Path tower for one year until next year's finals. Congratulations Light Path!

Quidditch Match
15th match: Dark vs. Light
Score: Dark: 170, Light: 150

The final game of the season before the crest finals has been the most intense all season long. Light Path Chasers were primed and ready for the final match of the season. In short time, after Beater Heliodoros Palos took out the Dark Path Keeper, Light Path pulled ahead 15 runs to 2, driving the both teams hard in an effort to win. After hours of grueling play, the Dark Path Seeker managed to catch the Snitch while Light Path was 13 goals ahead. It was enough to both end and win the game.

However when season-long points were tallied it stood as follows: Light Path took the lead with 1550 points, with Grey Path second at 1530, leaving Dark Path in third place with 1510 points. With these scores, it's clear Light Path and Grey Path are going to the finals next week, for the final game of the season, and for the Quidditch crest.

Quidditch Match
14th match:Grey vs Light
Score: Grey: 80, Light 250

Light Path takes another win in the 14th game of the season. There's only one game left before the finals, and the two teams who've scored the most wins will go on to face off for the final match of the season on July 25th. It is getting intense out there. Again the two teams were nearly neck and neck, and then due to some combined teamwork, Light path pulled ahead by two goals, only moment before their Seeker managed to catch the snitch.

Grey and Light are currently in the lead with most wins and highest points, with Dark in last place. Next week's game could remove Dark from the equation period, or call for a run-off game between all three teams to determine who's going to the finals.

Quidditch Match
13th match: Dark vs. Grey
Score: Dark: 300, Grey: 150

Another incredibly close game as Dark and Grey battle it out neck and neck for the win. The action-packed game lasted an amazing three hours, as goals were alternately blocked and scored each team on the other's hells the entire match. It quite clearly came down to the wire between the Seekers. The Snitch made a late appearance as the teams scored, leaving the Seekers with little to do besides avoid being injured.

And then it became a race for time. Twice each team's Seeker nearly caught the snitch, only to be blocked by the other. Finally after a three hours, the Snitch was caught be the Dark Path Seeker, ending the game while the score had been tied, leaving Dark 150 points up for catching the Snitch.

Quidditch Match
(OOC: Posting early so I don't forget this time)

12th match: Dark vs. Light
Score: Dark: 80, Light: 230

Light Path's showing us they're not out for the count yet! In incredible show of skill, Light Path trumps Dark for the first time during the quidditch season. The Light path team, running like well-oiled machines, matched Dark gol for goal. Chasers and Beaters alike fought to make and block goals. Keepers did a great job of preventing either side from scoring more than eight goals during this length game.

In fact, it was anyone's game throughout, until just as it because to get cloudy and threaten rain, Light's Seeker managed to catch the Snitch only seconds before Dark's, ending the game. Predicitions as to what happens next and who's going wto win this crest this year are still up for debate.

Quidditch Match
11th match:Grey vs Light
Score: Grey: 190, Light 80

Light Path falls further in ranks as grey Path is again victorious. Apparently the party the previous night was not any sort of hindrance for grey team players. In another heated match, Light Path took the lead earlier, but it was again quick work on the part of Grey's Seeker that the game ended swiftly, letting the team players nurse those hangovers, as well as start a new round of celebrations!

The season's heating up, but it's still anyone's guess as to who's going to stay in the lead!

Quidditch Match
10th match: Dark vs. Grey
Score: Dark: 170, Grey: 120

The lead is taken by Dark Path, as they win two weeks in a row. Even down being down a keeper didn't stop Dark from pulling past Grey. Grey scored goal after goal with no one to stop them, but in the end Dark's seeker surged forth faster and caught the snitch, ending the game before Grey could completely dominate and pull too far ahead to be caught. In a stunning game that lasted well over two hours, Dark and Grey seemed to take this battle seriously, and Dark path players redeemed themselves from their past losses to Grey.

Quidditch Match
9th match: Dark vs. Light
Score: Dark: 60, Light: 200

Dark Path's starting to fall behind as Light wins a match against them. In a quick and dirty match that lasted only a short hour, Light ran Dark path into the ground. Dark Path lost both their Seeker and a Beater during the match, both players carried off to the infirmary during play. Dark Path valiantly tried to keep it together but without the prime player needed to make a win, Light path caught the snitch and won the game with ease.

Sorry this one's so late guys!

Quidditch Match
8th match:Grey vs Light
Score: Grey: 140, Light 90

The pattern is finally broken, as Grey path emerges victorious over Light path for the first time this season. It had been a close game, scores running neck and neck all game long. Not one member of either team was lost, and it was the cleanest match we've seen played all year. Both teams' Seekers were close to catching the Snitch twice before Kirsten Nordlund caught it on seconds before Katarina Yurkovic could.

This newest victory leaves Grey path in the lead for most games won so far. As the season continues though, we can only imagine what will happen next.

Quidditch Match
7th match: Dark vs. Grey
Score: Dark: 80, Grey: 290

As we return from break, the Quidditch matches continue to heat up the school. The pattern continues as once again Grey trounces Dark, this time in a stunning match that left the dust settling for hours. Early on in the game, due to impressive Beater work, one Dark Chaser was injured. A foul was called on some shady play involving one Grey Path Beater, but in the scuffle, the Dar Path lost the most valuable player on the team; their Seeker.

Dark refused to give up the fight, continuing to score and doing a fine job of keeping Grey from scoring, until this time Dark's Keeper was lost in play. Grey scored multiple goals rapidly and easily, the game seemingly in the bag for them. This was confirmed when Grey's Seeker caught the Snitch with not competition, ending a short, but action-packed game.

Quidditch Match
6th match: Dark vs. Light
Score: Dark: 220, Light: 80

Predictions come true! Maybe our Quidditch commentator's got a bit of the sight. In the second Dark vs. Light match, the sixth game of the season, Dark makes a second comeback. Dark path Chasers and Beaters were playing hard, and a little dirty. And if we didn't know better it would seem as though at least one Dark Path Chaser Matthias Fettkenheuer's got it out for Light Chaser Taavi Suullinen. Suullinen was injured in play, severely enough to be taken off the field when Fettkenheuer took a teammate's bat, aiming a Bludger at Suullinen, knocking him off his broom and down to the ground.

Down a chaser, Light Path found it more difficult to score. Light Path Chaser Kristof Yurkovic was awarded a penalty shot, scoring Light path's last goal before the Dark path Seeker managed to catch the snitch seconds before Light's path's Seeker could do the same. Each team's now got two matches under their belts as we head off into spring holidays. Who knows what the rest of the season will bring?

Quidditch Match
5th match: Grey vs. Light
Score: Grey 90, Light 170

There seems to be a pattern emerging in the results of the Quidditch Matches. Once again Light Path took on Grey Path, and once again Light Path reigned supreme. Considering Grey's won both matches against Dark, and Light's won twice against Grey, one wonders if once more, Dark will beat Light in next week's game...

But that's next week. This week both teams were in fine form, though it seemed Grey's Chasers were a bit more primed for the match that Lights. They scored quickly, almost easily, while Light struggled and only managed two goals. But once again Light Path was saved by their Seeker, Katarina Yurkovic, who managed to spot and catch the snitch ending the game and giving the victory to Light Path!

Quidditch Match
4th match: Dark vs. Grey
Score: Dark: 180, Grey: 250

In the face of last week stunningly fast victory for Dark, this week's game was a complete turnaround. Longer but just as action-packed, this game was nearly anyone's until Grey lost a Chaser who was struck by a Bludger to the head. The score tilted drastically toward Dark making it 160 to 100 two hours into the game. It seemed down to the wire - and down to the Seekers. While the Seekers battled it out to catch the elusive Golden Snitch, Dark managed to put away two more goals in quick succession.

But it was all over only minutes later when Grey Path Seeker Kirsten Nordlund triumphantly caught the Snitch, securing an almost unexpected victory for the Grey Path team!

Quidditch Match
3rd match: Dark vs. Light
Score: Dark: 250, Light: 90

Dark Path comes back from initial defeat to prove they're nowhere near out of the running just yet. In a stunningly short and vicious match, Dark Paths Beaters combined efforts to take out first Light Path's keepers and then focus efforts on keeping the Light path chasers from scoring. Meanwhile both team Seekers waited anxiously for the Snitch to show. Light Path Seeker Katarina Yurkovic must have desperately wanted to catch the Snitch to end the match as Dark patch Chasers began scoring repeatedly in due to nearly unprotected goal posts.

The Snitch made its appearance and soared high, out of spectator sight immediately. In fact, it's still a bit unclear what went one between the two Seekers where no one could see through the thick clouds. The two Seekers were out of sight for a full fifteen minutes, but suddenly a body emerged: Yurkovic, falling from her broom. She was easily caught by her brother Kristof Yurkovic, but while he was distracted, Dark Path Beaters managed to hit a Bludger at Light Path Chaser Taavi Suullinen, injuring him and managing to score once more before Dark Path's Seeker caught the Snitch, sailing triumphantly down.

The match was over in forty-five minutes, and the word "cheaters" was flung about, prompting teacher intervention to stop a fight that broke out. Several members of both teams were sent to the infirmary to treat injuries, but no one was seriously hurt. Tensions are high though, and the next match between Light and Dark will likely prove to be intense.

Quidditch Match
2nd match: Grey vs. Light
Score: Grey 50, Light 220

The Quidditch Season continues with an incredible game between Light Path and Grey. This one was over quickly, folks, and it wasn't surprising at all why. Early in the game Light Path Beater Kristof Yurkovic took out Grey Path's Keeper, making it easy as any for one of Light Path's Chasers Taavi Suullinen to put away goal after goal. That alone could have ensured Light's victory. But Grey Path Chaser Kiril Sirakov helped take up his team's slack managing to steal the Quaffle from Suullinen twice and putting away a few goals of his own. Grey wasn't going down without a fight.

But again the real battle was up high, where seekers Katarina Yurkovic and Kirsten Nordlund battled to catch the Snitch. It wasn't easy going, both teams' Seekers are light and fast. It was nearly almost impossible to see who caught the Snitch until Yurkovic soared downward, victorious. It was a rousing game that only leads one to wonder in excitement at next week's Light versus Dark match!

Quidditch Match
1st match: Dark vs. Grey
Score: Dark: 70, Grey: 170

The Quidditch Season opened with a spectacular game between the Dark path and the Grey Path teams! Early on in the match, the Grey picked up two quick goals, courtesy of Chaser Kiril Sirakov, but then the Dark Path's Beaters began effectively cutting off Grey's Chasers. Brynja Aridottir, Dark Path Beater, slammed a Bludger past grey's Beaters, and managed to take out the Grey team Keeper. Down a key team member, the Grey team struggled to recover, as Dark's Chasers began scoring repeatedly. But up high in the sky, the seekers were battling to catch the Snitch, and this proved to turn the tide of the game!

Cold air and near-blinding winds didn't stop the Grey Path's Seeker Kirsten Nordlund from snagging the Snitch first, earning her team 150 on top of the 20 they had, ending the game in a sudden victory for the Grey Path team! What a great way to start of the season, with an exciting match!
