(Thread) Durmstadt Drifting (Open)
Petya had needed to replace her cauldron for a few weeks now. She had procrastinated replacing the old, second-hand cauldron and it had held up against her tantrums and outbursts. The cauldron had several cracks and was chipping on the inside, it finally cracked in half when she threw it across an empty room and it hit the wall.

It was getting colder for her usual attire so she grabbed a coat which she permanently borrowed from a boy she met while she was traveling. She traveled down to Durmstadt by herself and perused some of the shops for a new cauldron and some ingredients. Maybe she would treat herself to a chocolate later.

She was looking through some of the cauldrons at a magical supply shop when she knocked over a few and they crashed to the ground. "Oh shit," she muttered as she hurried and tried to scoop them all back up onto the shelf.

Out on the town
Who: Misha Vladimirovich and Erika Hasdeu
What: Misha takes her on a date, and something unpleasant happens later
When: April 12th, six-thirty PM.
Where: Grey path common room, then Durmstadt
Rating: R, for unexpected violence.

Misha tucked his shirt into his pants, straightening his collar before turning toward his twin. "Stunning yes?" he asked, a teasing smile on his lips. He'd chosen to dress for his date and wait with Sasha until it was time to meet her. It was only when six-thirty grew closer that he affectionately bid his twin adieu, warning him to be careful. He headed out towards the common room, flopping into a comfortable chair to with the arrival of his date.

He wasn't entirely thrilled at the thought of leaving his twin, especially not with what had been happening lately. But there was nothing he could do about bad dreams, and Sasha had insisted that Misha go about his plans as per usual, without letting thoughts of him distract him. Easier said than done, of course, but Misha agreed. He waited as the time grew closer to six-thirty and tried to keep the thought of what he could not control out of his head.

What: Tania heads into Durmstadt for a drink and some fun.
Where: Glücklich Heide, Durmstadt
When: December 27, 2008, Evening
Rating: PG-13 (Will adjust as need to.)

Tania had decided she had spent enough time preparing for when her students returned. She now deemed it time for some relaxation and fun. So, dressed for said fun she headed off to Glücklich Heide, which was a nice German pub she had come across during her years at the school as a student. Since then she has come around in a fairly regular basis, especially since she became a Professor at the school.

She entered the pub, a friendly smile shot in the direction of the tender, a man she had come to respect for his gruff nature and his constant need to make sure every women who entered his pub was treated properly. She took off her coat and draped it over the back of a bar stool before sitting down, one leg crossing over the other.

"Guten label, goldig. Rum on the rocks, bitte."

Who: Aila and Sirja
What: Shopping together
When: Saturday morning
Where: Entrance hall, then Durmstadt
Rating: None

Aila couldn't believe she was actually excited to go shopping. As much as she loved Christmas, this year was beginning to look a bit bleak for her. She was curious as to why her parents hadn't written, and was overwhelmed with her need to make excellent marks on her exams. Therefore, when Sirja had asked that they do a bit of shopping together, she jumped at the chance to get some fresh air.

Dressed in all black, to match her mood, she waited for her estranged sister in the entrance hall, where they had agreed to meet.

[Thread] Not a morning person.
Who: Roffe and Szabina
What: Roffe sleepily venting
When: Morning, Today
Where: Staff common room
Rating: Medium, for Roffe’s language

Armed with tea that didn’t quite compare to Turkish coffee or Sherpa tea, Roffe ran a hand through his hair as he shuffled up the stairs to the Staff common room. He was up early, even for him, hair in wild spikes all over his head. Yawning behind his hand, he nearly stumbled into the common room and over to the table, his ass thudding into the seat, quickly followed by his cup of tea thumping onto the table top, a bit of liquid sloshing over the lip.

He couldn't give a flaming rat's ass about the tea as he slumped into his seat. How people got up and moved around coherently at this time of the morning was beyond him as he laid one arm across the tabletop and rested his head on it. The early hour wasn't the least of his problems -- it was his person. The letter from the headmistress was still in his pocket, nearly driving him mad because he had no idea...

"Life is hell," he rasped, missing the sound of someone else coming in the room with him.

[Thread] Working Off Some Frustration. (Open to Heinrich)
Who: Heinrich Kronenberg and Lidia Gorski.
What: Maybe a day of doing the dirty will help clear the air and get each other out of their systems.
When: Today, from noon until whenever.
Where: The Blaue Bären, Durmstadt.
Rating: It'll start off mild, but will definitely end up being NC-17.

Lidia arrived at the Blaue Bären inn precisely at noon. Despite never having been there before, she didn't have much trouble finding the place. It was the only inn so close to the edge of town, the large white structure framed by the forest, and the thick, towering trees gave the impression of seclusion, privacy. Which was exactly what she and Heinrich were looking for that day.

Taking a deep breath, Lidia tried to calm the fluttering of nerves in her stomach as she approached the front desk. No one knew who she was. She'd gone out of her way to dress down and change her appearance just enough to not look like herself. So there was no reason at all for her to think that anyone would recognize the girl who'd asked for a key under the name Braunstein.

All the same, with the look the witch behind the desk gave her, Lidia felt more at ease when she finally got to room 35. She was a little surprised to find that Heinrich wasn't there already, but perhaps he was running a bit late.

Trying not to dwell on the possibility that Heinrich had possibly intended to make a fool out of her from the start, Lidia decided to make herself comfortable while she waited.

[Thread] Dining with the Devil. (Open to Vincenc)
Who: Taavi Suullinen and Vincenc Reznik
What: Have a little talk about after the Dark Path party, and about Vasili Borisenko.
When: Saturday November 15th
Where: The Kleiner Deustchmann, Durmstadt
Rating: PG-13 for likely talk of sex and possibly a few disturbing themes.

Nervous, his hands fiddling with the buttons on his overcoat, Taavi paused outside the Kleiner Deutschmann. He had never been there before and silently thanked Merlin Vincenc had told him to dress casual. He didn't want to call too much attention to himself. Though that was the least of his worries. He was more focused on how he was supposed to sit down to dinner with Vincenc like they were old friends when the memory of what went on after the Dark Path party was not only looming over him, but would be a topic of discussion as well.

He summed up his nerve and stepped inside. He was precisely on time, a feat accomplished by almost neurotic attention paid to his pocket watch. He'd be perpetually late without it. As soon as he was inside, he unbuttoned his coat, took off his hat and gloves, and scanned the room to see in Vincenc had already arrived.

[Thread] Date Night (Open to Vasili)
Who: Vasili Borisenko and Katarina Yurkovic
What: Their first date.
Where: Durmstadt.
When: Monday evening, after classes.
Rating: NC-17 due to Vasili finally getting some from Kata.

Katarina was extremely nervous. She had never been on a date before, and she tried to push her nerves away with each step closer to Durmstadt. She was dressed to perfection and frankly, freezing. She should have worn leggings on under her dress, but she honestly didn't have any that would go with her dress. She tried her best to ignore it, though, simply because she knew she'd be inside soon enough.

Finding the restaurant, Kata slipped inside and quickly looked around for Vasili. She had suggested they meet at the restaurant just in case Kristof did anything insane like follow her from the school.

[Thread] Shopping spree. [Open to Katarina]
Who: Taavi Suullinen and Katarina Yurkovic
What: Go to Durmstadt to buy Kata a new dress
When: Sunday November 9th, after lunch.
Where: Various shops around Durmstadt
Rating: PG at worst, I'm sure.

Taavi had managed to convince Kristof that he and Katarina were going off to talk. He didn't mention this date with Herr Borisenko, not yet. He wanted to talk to Katarina about that first. He knew nothing about this guy, and he knew that was one of the things making Kristof nervous. He dressed warmly for the cold November weather, though it wasn't as cold as winters in Finland could be. It was still fall, with the promise of still colder weather yet to come.

Taavi had no idea where in Durmstadt to buy girl-clothes. He didn't have any need to do so, not even to buy gifts too often. So it was up to Kata to pick out shops. Taavi was certain his job was to tell her when something ling great and when it wasn't the most flattering thing. He hoped he could to the latter diplomatically. He didn't want to wind up offending her by accident. "So, um, Kata? Who is this guy anyway?"

[Thread] A Trip to Durmstadt (Open to Vasili)
Who: Judita Radomira & Vasili Borisenko.
What: Meeting for the first time.
Where: Uh...Durmstadt, duh.
When: Sunday afternoon.
Rating: XXX for sexual situations.

Judita simply couldn't stand being at the school any longer. She needed to get out and away from everything, and so after her shower she got dressed and decided that she should take a trip to Durmstadt.

She really had no set place in mind when she left the school. She was much calmer now than she had been at the All Hallow's Eve party, yet she was still frustrated with everything that had happened not to mention the talk she received from the Headmistress. She sat at a table in one of the inns with a large mug of hot lemon tea and a plate that had potato apricot dumplings on it, although so far all she had done with her dessert was poke it with her fork. She was trying desperately to figure out why Viktorie had dropped her wand, but nothing was coming to mind, and as such, Judita was left staring almost blankly at her plate.

Some down time [OPEN]
Who: Noak Tjader and [OPEN]
What: Buying a new owl
Where:Durmstadt
When: Saturday Afternoon
Rating: PGish? Could change, I guess.

Noak moved through the small streets of Durmstadt, heading toward the shop that sold owls and other types of magical animals. He had been doing homework in his dorm, rather unsuccessfully, and the restlessness that he had felt since waking in the morning overcame him. He couldn't bring himself to sit inside anymore, scribbling away at the essay he had due or studying the notes he needed to look over again. Feeling that schoolwork could wait, Noak decided that he might as well head into Durmstadt and buy a new owl. Steffan was a sweet animal, but he was getting too old and was continuously shredding Noak's letters to pieces. Noak needed a bird that he could rely on, not a pet he kept around out of sentimental attachment.

The air was chilled, but not overly so, and Noak found himself wishing he had left his cloak behind. The warmth it provided was a little unwelcome, at least while the sun was still in the sky. Noak moved through the crowds with ease, occasionally recognizing faces amongst the clusters of students out for the weekend. He passed by a liquor store he knew to sell distilled spirits regardless of age and made a mental note to stop by on the way back. It was ridiculous that certain stores enforced age tests. If the students wanted to drink, they could easily get liquor elsewhere and did not need to go to a shop.

Noak arrived at his destination. Standing in front of the store, he eyed a few caged owls through the shop's main display window. They looked meek and tired except for one which was going at its cage with its beak. Noak frowned. Maybe keeping Steffan for the time being wasn't such a bad idea.
