[In the center of the Arena, there is a squat brick building, with the letters "SLT HIGH" hanging above the door. Outside of the building is a nicely-kept track field, at the center of which you will see the King.]

Welcome, all. We're very pleased to see you here at the Homecoming Dance. As a group, you've made it through 50 games thus far, and We think it's time you had a little reward for your efforts. Kick back and relax, dear blanks. This is meant to be a magical night. There will be entertainment, activities, refreshments, and an after-party to keep you kids busy until morning...

Oh, and to those of you who seem to think that this is going to be a fight, you should know that there will be no horseplay at the dance. Your battle capabilities will be returned to you after the game.

[You may notice a draining sensation from your limiters, because from this point on, everyone in the game is reduced to normal human capability. You're at level one offensively AND defensively, and you have no powers whatsoever, no matter how innate they may have been. Any weapons you may have brought with you have disappeared.]

Well, that's enough of a preface, don't you think? Go gussy yourselves up.

[Those of you who haven't gone to make pretty dresses today may find Scowl and Spiky on the lakeshore. There's a makeshift target made of firewood and a pederpe skin tied to a pillar, a knife already hanging from it.]

* hear the rare sound of clashing metal in the caves? it's probably coming from the two members of Cepheus choosing this fine hour to test out their new toys. With a very harmless and tame sparring session, of course o/ *

Did you know that your dorm has an old-fashion chiming doorbell? Well, it doesn't, actually. :( But you're hearing one now! :D

The blanks were mysteriously drawn to the arena. . .or was it really that much of a mystery? It was game time, and it was as if an ominous voice were calling to them to join in~! Many came, but out of all the blanks, only nine teams on a very unlucky losing streak actually had a chance of discovering a memory.

When the blanks arrive, much to their surprise, a new statue seemed to be in place, and quite a lovely one, if I do say so myself. Surrounding the statue were piles and piles of books made purely of stone. Surely these weren't for reading, the blanks may wonder, but what else would a statue read?

[The meat of the lizard has long been divided up, a large part having gone to Lacerta and Gallows (;_;) and the fat was given to Vulpecula and Cepheus to be made into soap. The skin and such is, of course, getting tanned. A disgruntled viking is currently camping out with the skin by the river to do the tanning work. The smelly scraping and other such process is mmooostly complete by now and this is mostly the soaking and stirring stage, but he has to keep stopping...
