The blanks were mysteriously drawn to the arena. . .or was it really that much of a mystery? It was game time, and it was as if an ominous voice were calling to them to join in~! Many came, but out of all the blanks, only nine teams on a very unlucky losing streak actually had a chance of discovering a memory.

When the blanks arrive, much to their surprise, a new statue seemed to be in place, and quite a lovely one, if I do say so myself. Surrounding the statue were piles and piles of books made purely of stone. Surely these weren't for reading, the blanks may wonder, but what else would a statue read?

What: When you reach the Arena, in addition to King being there and looking super important, there are twelve tables, each draped in the velvet of the teams colors. On the tables are the proper number of hinged metal vambraces, brass and fairly plain, save a number of open marble-sized slots and an engraving of the team's emblem.

I trust by now you've had time to reflect on the events of the other day, much as I have. Much as it pains me to face it, a number of you have clearly shown that you cannot be trusted with both free will and extraordinary strength. You have used your powers to abuse your fellow Blanks, both mentally and physically; imposing your will where there should be none but my own, invading each others minds and hearts without permission. I must say that I, myself, am more than a bit disappointed; I had honestly hoped somewhat better of this group. But no matter. To dwell on the past is pointless, of course. We must look to the here and the now. For the protection of all Blanks, and particularly those who may benefit from our blessing in this, we will be implementing a system of Animus Limiters.

These would be the bracers you see in front of you. They are fitted to you and will grow with you. The only way to remove them is to pull out the pin along with back side. When worn, they will limit physical strengths and magical skills to a level deemed safe for use. They will also provide each Blank with a modicum of psychic defense. I'm sure I don't need to name any names, but the parties that have been influencing the minds of their fellow Blanks without permission should know that those days are absolutely over.


When they are not worn, you will revert to your completely blank state, much as you were when you first woke up here. Recalling or forming new long-term memories will be impossible in this state. I would suggest you all put them on quickly, as they will go into effect in a matter of minute.
