Under the wing of a Nightingale - Message to Galahad
My boy,

I know not where you are, not what you are doing, but the time is right to proceed.  I am sorry I have not seen you recently, and we have been forced to communicate thusly.  I hope that you have the second wave of the incursion ready, as we had planned.  I pray you, do not take any chances.  I need you as my heir more that I need you as a knight.  I trust your arm and your heart equally and I know that you will do what is right.

Yours,

A

[Thread] Calm Before the Storm [Sleeping Woods; Open]
Sir Galahad felt as if he had a weight settled on his chest. He had barely been eating and slept only a few hours a night. He was concerned over the upcoming war. He was worried, both for Arthur and for Guinevere despite the fact that he had never spoken those words to anyone. He wasn't sure what to do any more, and so he was in the process of doing what he always did when he wasn't certain on what to do next; he was praying. He had moved into the woods to take some time for himself, and was resting in a patch of grass.

He sat on his knees with his head bowed and his hands pressed together in front of his chest. "My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things." His words were spoken in soft yet confident tones. "I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy." He licked over his lips and made the sign of the cross over his body as he had been taught to do.

In the still of the night - Camlann (Order: Arthur, Galahad, Sophie, Howl)
Arthur and Galahad finally got out of the woods.  It was night again, and Arthur made his way back through the now empty streets of Camlann toward "The Wizard Pendragon's" shop.  He was hoping that the scabbard was finished, and was contemplating the strange folk he met with in the woods.  At least now he had an intelligence source.  Now, he needed some peace and quiet.

It was then that he spied the doorway into the shop, and thereby into the Wizard Howl's castle.  It truly was a marvelous thing, this castle of his.  With it he could travel to the other shops connected to the castle.  What a wonder.  He walked to the door and knocked, hoping that no one saw his face as he did so.  There was no knowing who might be awake now.

Arthur - Camping in the Woods (Open to Galahad)
Arthur walked carefully back to their camp, taking care not to drop the precious things he was carrying.  How was he going to explain his absence to Galahad?  By telling him the truth he supposed.  It was such a strange thing, feeling like there was someone in the world who would not try to back stab him at this first chance.  Not to say he thought Queen Titania would, but you could never tell with the fae, least of all not with the great fae.

Spotting the fire in the near distance, Arthur honed in on it and began walking directly towards its cheery warmth.  The queen's  conversation still weighed heavily on his mind, and he would be glad to talk to someone about it.

[Thread] Paths Crossing Again [Closed to Arthur]
Sir Galahad read the letter the first time and nearly fell over. When he read it the second time, pure excitement rushed through his very soul. It is not the grail I ask you to seek this time. There was no doubt in his mind as to who wrote the letter, yet. . .It couldn't be.

King Arthur was dead.

Was it possible that this strange land with it's odd ways had somehow brought his King back? If that was the case, what would become of Lady Guinevere? There were more questions than answers, but he didn't hesitate to ponder them all. He had left Camlaan as Guinevere had asked him to, but if this letter was true, if King Arthur. . .

He could barely contain his excitement as he dismounted the horse at the clearing. His eyes were watching as the sun slid lower and lower. He tugged his cloak hood further over his features, hoping to stay hidden until his company arrived.

Anonomously sent to Galahad, attached to the leg of a bird
Dear Sir Galahad,

Someone would like very much to meet with you.  This is a matter of utmost secrecy and discretion.  Please do not attempt to respond.

There is great evil in this world, as there was in the last, only this time we CAN stop it.  And save Camelotlann.  Please be at the clearing at the edge of the sleeping woods two nights hence, at dusk, and come alone.  It is not the grail I ask you to seek this time.
