I'm back from vacation and after a few days of handling RL things, Aidou is off hitatus!

Hey, guys! Ton here. Vel and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a family reunion. It's extremely unlikely that we'll be able to get onto the internet while we're there, so we're going to have to take a week-long hiatus. Just assume that tornado-induced lockdown shenanigans are keeping Xion and Saix off the radar.

The Moving Event

Outside the buildings, tornado-force winds are tearing around unpredictably inside the dome; they seem to whip in one direction, then the next; stop completely in one second, then reappear even more intense in the next. Every now and then there's a tremendous boom, followed by more intense winds.

For those of you who stay in the shelter, which is underground, you'll barely notice anything out of the ordinary -- except for the occasional flicker of electricity almost, but not quite, going out. Those of you in the aboveground buildings will get the nervous pleasure of very creaky buildings that don't muffle much sound, and breathing can get difficult.

Sentinels remain in their usual numbers in places like the hospital, the pet shop, and the club. But the bots that normally patrol around helpfully are much fewer and far between.


Those of you who venture towards Sector 5, ignoring the warning, will find that a large, large area even bigger than the graveyard has been cordoned off and is being patrolled by the missing bots and extra sentinels. The area beyond those limits is crowded with bots, but anyone seeking to pass despite the polite warnings of the remote units will be tazered and removed. This area is strangely impossible to teleport to -- and the winds here are even stronger.

The OOC Move

We're going to InsaneJournal, and most of us should be moving this week. Next Monday's day post will take place on IJ! After that, all posts should go on IJ. So here's the details:

1) Keep making new threads this week, and finishing up old ones on Inksome, but get them wrapped up as soon as you can -- we can't archive perfectly until we're all done here. Please notify us of any unfinished threads from earlier than last week.

2) Register a journal on InsaneJournal (it doesn't have to be the same name you used on Ink) and join the IC community and the OOC community.

3) Post a comment on this post filling out the following for each of your characters, just like you would on the Taken page:

LEAVE THE TEXTAREA TAG, IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE, OKAY? OKAY.

Feel free to also let us know if the info on the current Taken page is out of date/if you want different contact info/whatever. If you're dropping, let us know so we can drop you "during" the move.

4) Reserves and applications will still be taken on Inksome, and will be retained when we switch over. Wanteds will not be retained; submit a new Wanted if you are still looking for canonmates.

5) It's perfectly okay if you're not ready and waiting next Monday with your journal ready to go. We have an IC excuse for why some characters arrive late, and others not at all. Whenever you're ready, make the switch and let us know what your journal is. Just don't expect any further activity in the Inksome communities.

Volunteering) We should have enough people to archive, after we contact the last of the people who volunteered last time, but just in case, if you're up for it, speak up.

Sari here! I already hold one character here so I decided to bring yet another to come play. I already had his account and everything set up here on inksome. I just needed to add more icons. I figured...since I'm here and still getting things set up I'd just use the icons I have and do my intro with Kyou.

I'm really REALLY excited about this because for the...four years I've played with him this will be the very first time he's coming from early in the series. So something totally different for me! The changes he made in personality TEMPER is huge.

Some important info about him.

1. He's sorta afraid of girls. They turn him into a cat.
2. He's got some angst issues
3. He likes to mouth off a lot at this point. which just means he's extra fun to poke...

I was going to intro him immediately, but Sentience made it rain which makes him a sleepy kitty...literally. Then all the talk of switching sites...and his cousin Haru dropped here. I figured give him a day on his own before adding Kyou.

Hey everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that Conrad's communicator will be malfunctioning some for the next few in-game days. The plot sharks are circling and although it turns out that the plot for which his communicator got put on the fritz has to be delayed, I don't want to have to go through the issues of fixing it and then breaking it again. In other words, Lazy Mun is Lazy. X3

Here's the deal: Conrad is able to hear over the communicator relatively well, but his microphone is working only intermittently so this means that some of his voice communications might include things like [static] and his action post might include things like [unintelligible] or [untranslated]. Conrad speaks English as well as his native language, so if any characters speak English I'll try and accommodate for action posts. Body language could be fun though, so don't be shy! Making Vash jealous sounds fun... XD

I'm going to try hard to remember to include an OOC note and a link to this message in my posts and tags so no one will have to remember this, but yeah I know it might be annoying. I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but bear with me please! <3

[For anyone curious as to an IC reason why Conrad doesn't want to get his communicator fixed, it's because he doesn't want to owe Sentience any favors if he can avoid it, and as long as he can hear over the network and speak to canonmates in person he's okay with it. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!]

My cousin and I will head to San Diego to attend Comicon. We are also planning to visit Disneyland, San Diego’s zoo and just party all over California, which means I’ll be completely inactive during a week starting tomorrow.

Well, say hello to Axel! He's what you might call a badass bastard with a superiority complex, but don't worry -- he's not out to kill you! ...Unless of course you threaten a friend (i.e. Roxas and Xion), then the story changes dramatically. (Can you say chakram to the face?) Here are some major points you should know about who he is and how I play him: he has no heart, he doesn't care about what others think of him, he likes to invade 'personal bubbles', he likes to burn things, he's often bored easily, he's a tad bipolar and emotional, he's overwhelmed at times with guilt, and he's very overprotective of Roxas. (For the record, yes, I am an Axel/Roxas shipper.)

If you're familiar with the KH fandom, you'll know that he recently appeared in the new 358/2 Days title, which I've fully played through and watched the cutscenes of -- so, please don't worry about spoiling me if you know information as well! If you don't want to be spoiled, let me know!

As for me, I'll be on to tag as best as I can. If you want to plot something out with Axel -- I'm pretty much a free bird when it comes to plotting -- feel free to catch me on AIM! Can't wait to play with you guys~ Get ready for some heat. o/
