To prospective players: This game is currently on hiatus until the mods have time to restructure and revamp it. We will begin advertising again when ready, and will not open until we have a set amount of players. Thanks!

Grocery shopping. Open to anyone.
Thomas needed some fresh groceries for himself. It was a guilty pleasure of his to shop for food, something he didn't get to do for Avec Plaisir. The fresh groceries were delivered, and though he knew they were choice ingredients, he didn't have any hand in them himself. Another thing he'd like to change when the restaurant was finally his.

It was chilly out, usual for late January in New York, but Thomas was bundled up nice and tight. His nose, peeking out over his scarf was red with cold as he walked down the street, weaving in and out of the crowd. He seemed to be doing his best not to accidentally touch or brush anyone.

Celebration Time! [open to Ursula]
Leda arrived at Patang, their cousin's restaurant, a bit early. She knew Ursula would be coming from work, but she herself had had time to go home, change, and then arrive at the restaurant. She nearly always dressed traditionally when she went out, and tonight was no exception. Leda's older sister had offered to take her to dinner in celebration of Leda's new promotion, and Leda certainly wasn't one to refuse.

Oddly though, when Amitesh saw her, after his exuberant greeting, he led her to the back room that was usually reserved. When asked, he revealed Ursula had requested it, saying something about privacy. curious now, Leda took a seat and waited for her sister to arrive. She ordered a mango lassi to drink while she waited, wondering why Ursula had requested the private room.

Curiosity is a dangerous thing. [Narrative or open]
Jinx hadn't been equipped with a personality when he was first created six years ago. His programming had been simpler then; he was a data processor at first, but his protocol slowly expanded to include a wider variety of functions. He was pretty much a walking library now, with a massive store of information one didn't expect to find in a Neo so small.

But it was his personality that was the newest bit of programming he was adapting to. The program didn't determine his personality - it adapted to his learning software and he developed his own. And that programming was developing into sheer curiosity. He began exploring parts of Valley Dynamics he'd never had reason or occasion to go to. Sometimes he found nothing unusual. Sometimes he met someone new. Sometimes he discovered information he logged away to reference later.

Today was no different. He walked down the corridors of the building, choosing to turn left where the day before he'd gone right. Where it led was no concern. That was the most interesting part about exploring: not knowing what you'd find.
